Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a filler polishing tool used for repairing the surface of a wood product such as a floor or wall of a house, furniture, or the like, for polishing an excessive amount of a filler embedded in a scratch or a dent to finish it smoothly.
[0002]
[Prior art]
BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, as a polishing tool for polishing a surplus of a filler embedded in a scratch or a dent and finishing the surface to a smooth surface for repairing the surface of a wood product such as a floor or a wall of a house or furniture, for example, US Pat. No. 6,061,913 What is disclosed in the specification is known.
3A and 3B show a polishing tool for both spatula and polishing disclosed in US Pat. No. 6,061,913. FIG. 3A is a sectional view and FIG. 3B is a plan view. This conventional polishing tool 1 is composed of a blade 2 formed so as to be gradually thinner from a central portion toward one end, and a housing 3 serving as a handle from the center to the other end. Polishing portions 5 are formed on both upper and lower surfaces of the housing 3 by a number of ribs 4 arranged along the width direction and grooves between the ribs.
[0003]
When the conventional polishing tool 1 repairs, for example, a scratch or a dent generated on a floor surface or a wall surface, a filler made of a synthetic resin is filled in the scratch or the dent to be repaired, and the excess filler is polished and smoothed. Used to form a surface. The blade 2 is used to fill the wound or the dent with the filler, and the filler is rubbed into the wound or the dent with the blade 2 so that the filler is filled without gaps. Next, in order to finish the surface of the repaired portion, the surplus filler is polished using the polishing portion 5 to obtain a beautiful repaired surface.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional polishing tool, when repairing a scratch or a dent generated at a boundary portion or a corner between a floor surface and a wall surface, the polishing surface cannot contact the boundary portion, so that it is difficult to perform a polishing operation. Met.
In addition, when repairing both the floor surface and the wall surface and repairing it, it was necessary to perform polishing work on both the floor surface and the wall surface because the conventional polishing part can only polish one surface, which was troublesome .
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a filler polishing tool suitable for repairing a scratch or dent generated at a boundary portion or a corner between a floor surface and a wall surface.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a synthetic resin or metal filler polishing tool for polishing an excess of a repair filler filled in a damaged portion of an article surface, a first polishing surface including a large number of irregularities, There is provided a filler polishing tool having a first polishing surface and a second polishing surface orthogonal to the first polishing surface.
In the filler polishing tool of the present invention, the first polishing surface and the second polishing surface include a plurality of ribs along a direction intersecting a longitudinal direction of the polishing tool and grooves between the ribs, The ribs and the grooves may be provided continuously over the first polishing surface and the second polishing surface.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing one embodiment of a filler polishing tool of the present invention, and reference numeral 10 in the figure denotes a filler polishing tool.
The filler polishing tool 10 is for polishing the surface of a repair filler filled in a damaged portion on the surface of an article, and has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape made of synthetic resin or metal. A first polishing surface 11 including a large number of irregularities is formed on one surface of both surfaces of the maximum area of the filler polishing tool 10, and one of an intermediate area orthogonal to the first polishing surface 11. A second polishing surface 12 is formed on the surface.
[0008]
The synthetic resin or metal constituting the filler polishing tool 10 may be any material having a surface hardness capable of smoothly polishing the filler used for repair, and a member to be filled with the filler, for example, wood, plastic, metal, etc. The material of the polishing tool is selected in consideration of the surface hardness of the polishing tool. In addition, it can be appropriately selected depending on the hardness, material, and the like of the filler to be used. For example, special steels such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and carbon tool steel, and ABS resins, polypropylene resins, and polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate. Resins such as resin, hard polyurethane-based resin, polyamide-based resin, polystyrene-based resin, polycarbonate-based resin, and hard vinyl-chloride-based resin are exemplified, and ABS resin is preferably used. When polishing a highly viscous and adhesive filler, polytetrafluoroethylene (polytetrafluoroethylene) or the like is used as the material of the polishing tool. The size of the filler polishing tool 10 is not particularly limited. Preferably, the size of the filler polishing tool 10 is set such that the polishing tool can be easily held by hand and rubbed against a floor surface or a wall surface, and usually has a length of 20 mm to 200 mm. The width is about 5 mm to 100 mm and the height is about 5 mm to 100 mm. The shape of the filler polishing tool 10 may be any shape as long as it has the first polishing surface 11 and the second polishing surface 12 orthogonal to the first polishing surface 11. The shape is not limited to a rectangular parallelepiped, and may be various shapes. A shape having a protrusion serving as a handle may also be provided.
[0009]
In the filler polishing tool 10, the first polishing surface 11 and the second polishing surface 12 are formed by a plurality of ribs 13 extending along a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the filler polishing tool 10 and between the ribs 13. The rib 13 and the groove 14 are provided continuously over the first polishing surface 11 and the second polishing surface 12. The direction in which the ribs 13 are formed may be a direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the filler polishing tool 10, but is preferably a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The concavo-convex pattern of each of the polished surfaces 11 and 12 composed of the rib 13 and the groove 14 is not limited to a straight line, but may be a lattice-shaped or stitch-shaped pattern.
[0010]
FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating the arrangement of the ribs 13 and the grooves 14 on the first and second polishing surfaces 11 and 12. In this example, the cross section has a substantially sinusoidal uneven surface due to the continuity of the rib 13 and the groove 14. The height a of the rib is usually 0.2 mm to 3 mm, preferably about 1 mm. The distance (pitch) b between the vertices of two adjacent ribs 13 is usually 0.4 mm to 6 mm, preferably 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm. If the rib height a is smaller than the above range, a sufficient polishing effect cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if the rib height a is larger than the above range, it becomes difficult for the fragments of the filler to be clogged and discharged to the outside along the rib grooves, Cleaning and removal of the polishing debris is not easy. On the other hand, if the pitch b is smaller than the above range, clogging is liable to occur and a sufficient polishing effect cannot be obtained.
[0011]
This filler polishing tool 10 is used for polishing and finishing the surface of a filler embedded in scratches or dents for surface repair of wood products such as floors and walls of houses and furniture. For example, in the case of repairing a floor surface or a wall surface, a repair filler (also referred to as wax, soft wax, or the like) is filled into a wound or a dent to be repaired, and rubbed with a spatula or the like as necessary. The filler for repair can be appropriately selected from various commercial products (for example, various fillers manufactured by Konig Co., Germany, “Super Multi Wax” manufactured by Vesco Co., Ltd.) and used.
[0012]
Next, using the filler polishing tool 10, the excess filler at the repaired portion is polished and removed, and a smooth surface is finished. In this polishing, the filler polishing tool 10 is held by hand, and the polishing surface 11 is reciprocated along the longitudinal direction of the filler polishing tool 10 in accordance with a floor surface or the like toward the repaired portion. Excess filler rising from the floor or the like is gradually polished by the polishing surface 11, and finally a smooth repaired surface is formed on the same plane as the floor or the like. In this polishing, the polished filler debris (polishing debris) temporarily collects in the groove 14 between the ribs 13 and is discharged from both ends of the groove to the outside along the groove 14 when a relatively large amount of polishing debris is generated. Is done.
The polished and smooth repair surface may be painted as needed.
[0013]
The filler polishing tool 10 has a configuration in which a first polishing surface 11 including a large number of irregularities and a second polishing surface 12 orthogonal to the first polishing surface 11 are provided. At the corner where the wall and the wall intersect, the repaired part of the floor and the wall can be polished at the same time.
Further, since the ribs 13 and the grooves 14 of the first polishing surface 11 and the second polishing surface 12 are communicated with each other, when the corner between the floor surface and the wall surface is repaired, the corner can be polished beautifully.
[0014]
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various changes can be made. For example, a similar polishing surface may be formed on a surface other than the first polishing surface 11 and the second polishing surface 12. The cross-sectional shapes of the ribs 13 and the grooves 14 of the polishing surfaces 11 and 12 are a series of inverted V-shaped (rib cross-section) and V-shaped (groove cross-section), inverted U-shaped (rib cross-section) and U-shaped (groove cross-section). May be configured.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
Since the filler polishing tool of the present invention has a first polishing surface including a large number of irregularities and a second polishing surface orthogonal to the first polishing surface, the floor surface and the wall surface cross each other. At the corners, the repair points on the floor and wall can be polished simultaneously.
In addition, since the ribs and the grooves of the first polishing surface and the second polishing surface communicate with each other, when the corner between the floor surface and the wall surface is repaired, the corner can be polished beautifully.
Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a filler polishing tool suitable for repairing a scratch or a dent generated at a boundary portion or a corner between a floor surface and a wall surface.
