【請求項1】 (a)アルキル化条件下で、アルキル化可能な芳香族化合物及びアルキル化剤をアルキル化触媒と接触させる段階及び
(b)前記アルキル化触媒が少なくとも部分的に失活してきたときにアルキル化触媒再活性化条件下で、前記アルキル化触媒をC1−C8炭化水素と接触させる段階、
を含む、アルキル化可能な芳香族化合物をアルキル化する方法。
