を利用して、物品又は情報を購入した場合には、購入金
額に応じて残額の計算処理がなされ、又、電子マネーや
ＩＣカードを利用して購入する場合には、利用するカー
ドに応じて予め決められている所定の処理が行われるよ
うになっている。１１は、現金計数装置１、物品排出装
置３、画像表示装置６、プリンタ８、カードリーダ９、
購入処理装置１０を制御しているＣＰＵ（中央制御処理
装置）であり、この自動販売機は、ＣＰＵ１１の制御に
より動作するように構成されている。従って、本発明の
自動販売機を利用することで、チケット等の予約のみな
らず、各種の情報の購入が可能になる。なお、予約のよ
うな場合、本人確認を確実に行うために、コード認証装
置１２を設け、このコード認証装置１２から本人を確認
する為のデータを読み込み可能にすることで、データの
信頼性をより高めるように構成している。
（第２の具体例）本発明の自動販売機は、インターネッ
トを介してアップロードされた地域情報が、画像表示装
置６上に表示されるようになっている。従って、この自
動販売機を駅構内に設置した場合には、鉄道会社の主催
する催し物のお知らせや当該駅の案内や売店のお知らせ
等を表示することで、より顧客に密着した情報を提供す
ることが可能であり、特に、プリンタにその情報を印刷
可能に構成したので、自動販売機が、情報端末装置とし
て、よりユーザフレンドリーなものになる。
（第３の具体例）また、本発明の自動販売機は、画像表
示装置６とプリンタ８が設けられているから、当該自動
販売機の近傍の地図情報を提供することで、社会のニー
