Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a passenger conveyor such as an escalator and an electric road, and more particularly to a safety device for preventing an accident between a side of a step and a balustrade. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a safety device for preventing an accident at the side of a step of a passenger conveyor, Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-18 / 78 is known.
As disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 235/235, there is known a safety device that protrudes from a skirt guard near an entrance / exit so as to wrap around a side end of a step. The safety device prevents a person from being caught between the step and the skirt guard and a foreign object (such as a commuter pass) from entering the gap. [0003] The prior art described above has no specific reference to the mounting strength of the safety device or the maintenance workability, and has a problem that it needs to be improved in terms of maintaining safety and dealing with time. Was. An object of the present invention is to provide a safety device for a passenger conveyor which is excellent in mounting strength and maintainability of a safety device on a step side portion. [0005] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an endlessly connected and moving step;
In a passenger conveyor equipped with a balustrade placed upright on both sides of this step and a skirt guard, an inner deck cover, a balustrade panel and the like constituting the balustrade, a vertical surface of the skirt guard is provided along the moving direction of the step. The first projecting in a direction to reduce the width dimension of the step.
A second base body fixedly provided on the first base body and fixedly engaged with the first base body, and a width of the step planted on the second base body. A safety device comprising a brush body extending in a direction to reduce the size is provided. In the above configuration, while the first base member is directly attached to the skirt guard itself, the second base member is engaged with the first base member so as to be integrally formed in an uneven shape. Because they are fixed, the strength of their mutual attachment is high,
In addition, there is an advantage that the maintenance work (the brush body and the second base body of the safety device can be replaced by one unit) when the brush body constituting the safety device deteriorates with time is extremely easy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of a passenger conveyor safety device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a main part of a passenger conveyor and its safety device according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along line MM in FIG.
In the figure, an escalator-type passenger conveyor 1 is installed from a lower floor 2 to an upper floor (not shown), and an entrance 3
Step 4 which is connected endlessly from the door to another entrance (not shown), moves, a balustrade 5 arranged upright on both sides of the step 4, a skirt guard 6 constituting the balustrade 5, an inner deck cover 7, balustrade panel 8, handrail 9 and the like. A first surface of the skirt guard 6 is fixed to the vertical surface of the skirt guard 6 with a screw 10A and protrudes along the longitudinal direction of the step 4 by a length T (about 10 to 30 mm) in a direction in which the width of the step 4 is reduced. The first base member 10B is provided, and the second base member 10B is fixedly engaged with the inner groove 10BB formed inside the first base member 10B in an uneven shape.
And the gap G between the step 4 and the skirt guard 6 which is planted on the second base body 10C and the second base body 10C,
Further, the length L (20
The safety device 10 composed of a combination of the brush bodies 10D extending by about 50 mm) is disposed over the entire movement path of step 4. In this case, the first base body 10B is securely fixed to the skirt guard 6 with screws 10A so that it cannot be separated from the skirt guard 6, and the second base body 10C is integrally engaged with the first base body 10B. Since it is a structure that is fixed together, it has a strength enough to withstand even if a passenger puts his foot on it or collides with baggage. In addition, the second base body 10C and the brush body 10D that constitute the safety device 10 can easily cope with the first base body 10B by detaching and engaging with the first base body 10B. This is advantageous also in the maintenance work (replacement of the second base body 10C and the brush body 10D of the safety device 10) at the time of deterioration with time. As described above, according to the embodiment of the present invention, it is of course possible to prevent a personal injury or a foreign object intrusion between the step 4 and the skirt guard 6, which is an original purpose of the safety device, more reliably by the protrusion length L than before. Thus, the safety device 10 can be improved in both fixing strength and maintainability. The mounting structure of the safety device 10 can be applied to a moving sidewalk as it is. To further increase safety, the safety device 10 is colored yellow, for example, to visually access the gap G. It is also possible to add measures to prevent this. As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a passenger conveyor safety device which is excellent in mounting strength and maintainability of the step side safety device.
