  For an ink supply unit that is formed by bonding a processed surface of a first rectangular block having a rectangular recess processed on one surface and a smooth surface of a second rectangular block to communicate with a plurality of ink channels. A shear mode type ink jet head, wherein a cover plate cut out from a ceramic rectangular block having perforations is bonded and formed. A cover plate cut out from a block in which the first block having a recess serving as a perforation for an ink supply unit and the second block are bonded so that the recess is located on the second block side;
A plurality of grooves processed, a piezoelectric ceramic having a cover plate bonded so as to cover the plurality of grooves and form an ink channel;
A shear mode ink jet head characterized by comprising: Affixing two first blocks having a recess in the center on both sides of the second block with the recesses on the second block side;
