Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein as in a conventional cap for a writing tool arranged with a pen point protective member inside, each of them is separately molded and they are thereafter assembled, it takes time and labor and as a material for the pen point protective member is an elastic material such as rubber, there exists a problem of curving generated by resistance when it is inserted and in a conventional technology wherein to solve the problem, the outer peripheral face of the pen point protective member or the inner face of the cap is coated with a lubricant, the lubricant has a chemical influence on an ink and the pen point protective member. SOLUTION: In the cap for the writing tool, the pen point protective member arranged in the cap is integrally formed with the cap by means of insert molding or two-color molding.

Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a writing instrument cap. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a so-called direct liquid ball-point pen in which ink is directly filled in a resin pipe is provided by placing a rubber pen tip protection member in a cap and bringing the pen tip into contact. It protects the pen tip from drying, preventing ink leakage, and protecting the tip of the pen tip. The pen tip protecting member is known in various shapes such as a disk shape, a spherical shape, or a hat shape, and any of them is formed of a material such as rubber having elasticity so as to be in close contact with the pen tip and a cap. In most cases, they are arranged in a press-fitted state in the inner part. The pen tip protection member is inserted from the opening side of the cap with a jig or the like. There are still things that can't be arranged.
In addition, if it is bent when it is arranged, the contact with the pen tip becomes incomplete, and various problems occur. In order to solve these problems, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-29
No. 9991 describes that the frictional resistance at the time of insertion is reduced by interposing a lubricant between the outer peripheral surface of the pen tip protection member and the inner wall surface of the cap, but it takes time and effort to apply the lubricant. Incorrect selection of the amount and type may have a chemical adverse effect on the pen tip protection member and the ink. [0003] The present invention is to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, without the need to press-fit with a jig or to use a lubricant to assist the press-fitting, An object of the present invention is to provide a writing instrument cap in which a pen tip protection member is integrally disposed inside a cap body. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cap for a writing instrument, in which a pen tip protection member disposed inside the cap is formed integrally with the cap by insert molding or two-color molding. The gist of the writing instrument cap is a feature. An embodiment will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 shows the appearance of the writing implement of the present invention, which will be described. A cap 1 is fitted to the shaft body 2, and a tail plug 3 is fixed to a rear end portion of the shaft body 2 (hereinafter, upper side in the drawing is referred to as front and lower side in the drawing is referred to as rear). A small diameter portion 2a is provided at a front portion of the shaft body 2, and a grip 4 such as a styrene-based elastomer or a polyolefin-based elastomer is fixed to the small-diameter portion 2a. A refill 5 is provided in the shaft 2. The refill 5 has a tip 6 made of metal or resin, a transparent pipe 7 made of polypropylene resin containing ink, and a holder 8 as a joint for connecting the tip 6 and the pipe 7. FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the front part of FIG. A pen tip protection member 9 having elasticity is disposed inside the hollow portion of the cap 1, and the tip of the tip 6 abuts to seal the pen tip. The cap 1 into which the shaft body 2 is inserted and fitted is
It is formed by injection molding using a molding die, but before injecting the resin forming the cap body, a pen tip protection member separately formed in advance is attached to the tip of the core pin in a state where the die is opened ( After that, the mold is closed, the resin is injected, and the pen tip protection member 9 is integrally formed with the cap. The cap thus obtained is a good one which does not have the trouble of bending and bending or poor arrangement when the pen tip protection member is assembled and inserted into the molded cap. The attachment of the pen tip protection member to the tip of the core pin can be easily performed by using a parts feeder, a transfer robot, or the like. The pen tip protection member 9 of this embodiment has an inverted concave shape, which is formed so that it can be easily attached to the tip of the core pin at the time of insertion into the mold. This is also to prevent the pen tip protection member 9 from falling off from the core pin during the operation of the operation. However, it is not always necessary to have an inverted concave shape, and the pen tip protection member may be formed in an inverted convex shape and the tip of the core pin may be formed in a concave shape, and various forms are conceivable. Examples of the material used for the pen tip protection member include rubber such as butyl rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, ethylene propylene terpolymer, nitrile rubber, and silicone rubber, low-hardness soft polyethylene, styrene-based or olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer. And resins such as mer. A second example will be described with reference to FIG. The description of the same parts as those in the above-described embodiment will be omitted. A refill 5 is provided inside the shaft 2, and the refill 5 is fixed by attaching a metal or resin tip 10 to the front end of the shaft 2. In the cap 11 of this embodiment, the pen tip protection member 12 is simultaneously formed by two-color molding, and the pen tip protection member is integrated with the cap. The two-color molding is a mold in which different shapes and materials are integrally molded in a series of cycles. The mold is divided into a primary side and a secondary side, and is molded first on the primary side. The object is then transferred to the secondary side to form one part. FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of the front part of the writing instrument of FIG. In the cap 11 of the present example, a cylindrical cap whose front (top) is released is formed first on the primary side of the mold, then transferred to the secondary side, and the front opening of the cylindrical cap on the secondary side. Pen tip protection member 12 against which tip 6 abuts on portion 11a
Is formed by molding. The nib protection member 12 is formed so that the flange portion 12a is a stepped portion of the cap 11 so that the shaft body 2 is fitted into the cap 11 and does not come off even if a pressing force is applied to the nib protection member 12. 11b is fixed in a locked state. As described above, since the cap in which the pen tip protection member is already housed is formed integrally at the stage when the molding is completed, the later press-fitting and assembly of the pen tip protection member into the cap can be omitted, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. The above is also suitable. The material used for the pen tip protection member 12 can be variously selected within a range in which injection molding can be performed. Examples thereof include silicon rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, and thermoplastic elastomer. Considering the sealing performance when the pen tip abuts, the material hardness is Shore hardness 3
0 ° to 70 ° is preferred. Further, in the cap of this embodiment, since the pen tip protection member is formed in the opening in front of the cap due to the characteristic of two-color molding, a part of the pen tip protection member is exposed near the opening.
By coloring the material used for the pen tip protection member, it is also possible to display the ink color of the interior. According to the writing instrument cap of the present invention, the pen tip protection member disposed inside the cap is formed by insert molding,
Or because it was formed integrally with the cap by two-color molding,
It is a good one that solves the trouble of assembly insertion and the problems of bending and poor placement, does not need to apply a lubricant or the like in order to improve insertability, and has no chemical adverse effect due to the lubricant.
