Field of the Invention [0002] The present invention relates to a fuel cell stack and a structure for mounting a fluid intake pipe connected to the fuel cell stack on a vehicle. 2. Description of the Related Art A polymer electrolyte fuel cell comprises an electrolyte membrane comprising an ion exchange membrane, an electrode (anode) comprising a catalyst layer and a diffusion layer disposed on one side of the electrolyte membrane, and an electrolyte membrane. A membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) comprising an electrode (cathode) comprising a catalyst layer and a diffusion layer disposed on a surface; a fuel gas (hydrogen) on an anode; a cathode and an oxidizing gas (oxygen, usually A cell (single cell) is constituted by a separator forming a fluid passage for supplying air), a module is constituted by at least one cell, a module group is constituted by stacking modules, and a cell of the module group is constituted. Terminals, insulators, and end plates are placed at both ends in the stacking direction, and the cell stack is tightened in the cell stacking direction. Fastening member (e.g., a tension plate) extending in the cell stacking direction in consisting stack formed by fixing the end plates at both ends with. In a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell, on the anode side, a reaction is performed to convert hydrogen into hydrogen ions and electrons. The hydrogen ions move through the electrolyte membrane to the cathode side, and oxygen and hydrogen ions and electrons (neighboring electrons) move on the cathode side. (The electrons generated at the anode of the MEA pass through the separator) to produce water. Anode side: H 2 → 2H + + 2e - Cathode side: 2H + + 2e − + (1/2) O 2 → H 2 O In order to perform the above power generation reaction, fuel gas and oxidizing gas are stored in the fuel cell stack. Supplied. Further, since heat is generated by the Joule heat in the separator and the water generation reaction in the cathode, a coolant is supplied to the fuel cell stack in order to cool the heat. Therefore, a fluid pipe for supplying and discharging each fluid of the fuel gas, the oxidizing gas, and the refrigerant is connected to the fuel cell stack. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 8-19239 discloses that
An electric vehicle equipped with a fuel cell stack in an engine room in front of the vehicle is disclosed. This publication does not describe the routing of each fluid pipe connected to the fuel cell stack. However, in the prior art, a fluid such as a fuel gas or an oxidizing gas is compressed by a compressor before being supplied to a fuel cell stack through each fluid pipe. The temperature of the gas and oxidizing gas fluid piping is high, which may cause thermal damage to the electrolyte membrane when flowing into the fuel cell stack, and the reliability of the heat of other components downstream from the compressor must be improved. There is a problem that it does not. In addition, the coolant temperature for cooling the fuel cell must be supplied at a temperature equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature so that appropriate cooling is performed. The object of the present invention is
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell stack vehicle mounting structure capable of lowering the temperature of a fluid supplied to a fuel cell. [0004] The present invention to achieve the above object is as follows. A fuel cell stack vehicle-mounted structure in which the fuel cell stack and each of the fluid intake pipes are mounted on a vehicle such that each fluid intake pipe connected to the fuel cell stack is positioned on the vehicle front side with respect to the fuel cell stack. In the above-described fuel cell stack vehicle mounting structure, each fluid intake pipe (in the case of gas pipes such as fuel gas and oxidizing gas, pipes from the compressor to the inlet of the fuel cell stack, and the fuel cell stack in the case). If it is contained, the piping outside the case) is located on the front side of the vehicle with respect to the fuel cell stack, so that the vehicle running wind or cooling air from the radiator fan hits each fluid intake pipe, (Oxidizing gas and fuel gas, the temperature of which is raised by a compressor). DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The piping structure of a fuel cell according to the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. The fuel cell of the present invention is a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell 10. The fuel cell 10 of the present invention is mounted on, for example, a fuel cell vehicle. However, it may be used other than a car. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell 10 has an electrolyte membrane 11 made of an ion exchange membrane and a catalyst layer 12 disposed on one surface of the electrolyte membrane 11.
And an electrode 17 composed of a diffusion layer 13 (anode, fuel electrode, negative electrode) and an electrode 17 composed of a catalyst layer 15 and a diffusion layer 16 disposed on the other surface of the electrolyte membrane 11 (cathode,

The air flow path 27b) and the separator 18 forming the cooling water flow path 26 through which the cooling water for cooling the fuel cell flows are overlapped to form a cell.
9, a plurality of modules 19 are stacked to form a module group, and a terminal 20, an insulator 21, and an end plate 22 are arranged at both ends of the module 19 group in the cell stacking direction. A stack 23 in which the end plates at both ends are fixed with a fastening member 24 (for example, a tension plate, the fastening member 24 constituting a part of the stack) and a bolt 25 extending in the cell stacking direction outside the cell stack. Consists of
At one end of the stack 23, a pressure plate 32 is provided between the end plate 22 and the insulator 21,
A spring mechanism 33 is provided between the pressure plate 32 and the end plate 22 to uniformly press the cells. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, a gas manifold 29 is provided in the fuel cell stack 23, and the gas manifold 29 is a fuel gas manifold 29.

Flows to a. The oxidizing gas is the oxidizing gas manifold 2 on the input side.
9b flows to the oxidizing gas flow path 27b of the cell, and flows from the oxidizing gas flow path 27b to the outgoing oxidizing gas manifold 29b. Similarly, a coolant manifold 28 is provided in the fuel cell stack 23, and the coolant manifold 28 communicates with the coolant flow path 26 of the cell. The refrigerant flows from the inlet-side refrigerant manifold 28 to the refrigerant channel 26, and the refrigerant channel 2
6 to the refrigerant manifold 28 on the outlet side. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, an end plate 22 (a pressure plate 3) at one end of a stack 23 is provided.
2. A refrigerant pipe 30 for supplying / discharging a refrigerant (cooling water) to / from a refrigerant manifold in the fuel cell stack is connected to the end plate 22) on the side opposite to the side where the spring mechanism 33 is disposed, and A gas pipe 31 for supplying and discharging gas to and from a gas manifold 29 in the fuel cell stack is connected. The gas pipe 31 includes a fuel gas pipe 31a for supplying and discharging fuel gas to and from the fuel gas manifold 29a in the fuel cell stack, and an oxidizing gas pipe 31b for supplying and discharging oxidizing gas to and from the oxidizing gas manifold 29b in the fuel cell stack. Consists of Refrigerant, fuel gas, and oxidizing gas enter the fuel cell stack from an end plate 22 at one end of the stack 23, make a U-turn, and exit from the same end plate 22. [0010] As shown in FIG.
The fuel cell stack 23 and the fluid intake pipes are arranged such that the intake pipes (inlet pipes to the stack 23) of the fluid pipes 31a, 31b, 30 connected to the fuel cell stack are located on the front side of the vehicle with respect to the fuel cell stack 23. 31a, 31
b and 30 are mounted on the vehicle. When the fuel stack 23 is put in the case, a portion of the intake pipes (inlet pipes to the stack 23) of the fluid pipes 31a, 31b, 30 connected to the fuel cell stack 23 is located outside the case. The fuel cell stack 23 and the fluid intake pipes 31a, 31b, 30 are mounted on the vehicle so as to be located on the vehicle front side with respect to the stack 23. Fluid piping 31a, 3a for fuel gas and oxidizing gas
1b, the pipe portion between the compressor 34 and the fuel cell stack 23, in particular, is a portion whose temperature rises due to adiabatic compression of gas by the compressor 34. It is located on the front side and is arranged so as to be able to hit the vehicle running wind and the cooling wind passing through the radiator fan 35. A plurality (for example, two) of stacks 23 may be arranged in parallel. FIG. 3 shows the arrangement of the fluid manifold on the end plate 22 on the side to which the fluid piping is connected when the end plates 22 are shared by the stacks 23 arranged in two rows in parallel. Although FIG. 4 shows a case where the stack 23 is arranged with the cell stacking direction facing the vehicle front-rear direction, the stack 23 may be arranged with the cell stacking direction facing the vehicle left-right direction. In that case, the fluid piping 31
a, 31b, and 30 are part of the stack 23
The fluid piping 31a, 3
1b, 30 should be routed. Fuel cell stack 23 and fluid piping 31
The intake pipes a, 31b and 30 are desirably arranged in the engine compartment at the front of the vehicle because the wind hit by the vehicle traveling wind can escape below the floor. If it is a position where it can hit and the wind can escape, it may be under the vehicle floor,
It may be in a luggage room at the rear of the vehicle where the wind is taken in from the side of the vehicle. Next, the operation of the fuel cell stack vehicle mounting structure of the present invention will be described. In the fuel cell stack vehicle mounting structure of the present invention, each fluid intake pipe 31a, 31b,
30 (in the gas piping for the fuel gas, the oxidizing gas 31a, 31b, etc.,
Since the piping up to the three inlets and the piping portion outside the case when the fuel cell stack 23 is housed in the case) are located on the front side of the vehicle with respect to the fuel cell stack 23, the vehicle traveling wind and Cooling air from the radiator fan 35 hits each fluid intake pipe 31a, 31b, 30 and
Each fluid (oxidizing gas, fuel gas, and gas whose temperature is raised by a compressor in the case of fuel gas, refrigerant) can be cooled. As a result, the heated fluid is prevented from flowing into the fuel cell stack and thermally damaging the electrolyte membrane 1, and the temperature reliability of components downstream of the compressor is unnecessarily improved. There is no need. The above operation is performed when the fuel cell stack is disposed in the engine compartment of the vehicle. However, even when the fuel cell stack is disposed under the floor of the vehicle or in a luggage room at the rear of the vehicle, cooling by the vehicle traveling wind is also possible. Holds. According to the fuel cell stack vehicle mounting structure of the present invention, each fluid intake pipe is located on the front side of the vehicle with respect to the fuel cell stack. The cooling air hits each fluid intake pipe, and can cool each fluid.
