On the other hand, in the illustrated example, the width dimension of the liquid permeable top sheet 3 is set to be slightly longer than the width of the absorbent body 4 as shown in the transverse sectional views of FIGS. Four
The three-dimensional gather BS prevents the side non-woven fabric 7 different from the liquid permeable top sheet 3, specifically, menstrual blood, a stuff, etc. from permeating, or enhances the feeling of touch. According to the purpose, the non-woven fabric material is appropriately treated to be water repellent or hydrophilic. The side nonwoven fabric 7 may be made of natural fibers, synthetic fibers, regenerated fibers, or the like and is formed by an appropriate processing method. However, it is preferable to eliminate the stickiness and prevent stuffiness. Therefore, it is preferable to use a non-woven fabric having a low basis weight and breathability. Specifically, it is desirable to use a non-woven fabric having a basis weight of 18 to 30 g / m 2 , and to reliably prevent the permeation of body fluids, silicone-based, paraffin-based, alkylchromic chloride-based water repellents, etc. A water repellent non-woven fabric coated with is preferably used.

The whiteness (JIS P 8123) is measured by a Hunter whiteness tester, and is the relative reflectance of a sample to a standard magnesium oxide plate when irradiated with light in the blue-violet portion of the spectrum. Shown. If the hip-hold flap HF area is at least a color area portion adjacent to the absorbent body 4, that is, if there is a body fluid leaking from the absorbent body 4 or oozing out through the liquid permeable top sheet 3, it is as if Are divided into an area (A) having a predetermined whiteness that can be expected to be absorbed, and an area (B) adjacent to this area and having a relatively low whiteness.

In this case, the whiteness of the color area A adjacent to the absorber 4 is 3 or more as compared with the whiteness of another adjacent color area B, preferably 10 or more. It is desirable to have If there is not such a difference in whiteness, it is not possible to clearly confirm the existence of a substance that is expected to absorb body fluid or the like in that portion.

The whiteness of the color area A adjacent to the absorber 4 is preferably 60 or more. When the whiteness of the color area A adjacent to the absorber 4 is 60 or more,
The recognition tendency that what exists in the color region A is an absorbing element becomes high. It should be noted that the color region A portion includes a case where an absorber or the like is present and actually exerts an absorbing effect, and a case where the absorber is not present and actually does not have an absorbing effect. That is, it is most desirable to dispose a member having an absorbing function such as an absorber or crepe paper in the color area A.
Even if the wearer does not have the absorbing function and is merely colored, the wearer can feel a sense of security against the rear leakage.

First, as a first method of giving a predetermined whiteness to the color area A, the color areas A and B are colored by different whiteness in the production of the liquid-impervious back sheet 2. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 3, the manufacturing in-line is provided on the surface side of the liquid-impermeable back sheet 2 (on the side where the absorbent body 4 is disposed) and including the color area A. Or give a color by inkjet,
Alternatively, a method of displaying white color by embossing can be cited. In the embossing, fine dot-like embossing is provided at a high density, and the liquid-impervious backsheet 2 made of a plastic sheet is finely dotted with local plastic regions (whitening due to extreme elongation) to obtain whiteness. Try to raise. The first method, so to speak, falsely misidentifies the presence of the absorbing element in the portion of the color region A, but at least the wearer can feel a sense of security at the time of wearing due to the false recognition of the presence.

Next, as a second method, as shown in FIG. 4, another material 11 is arranged on the surface side of the liquid-impermeable back sheet 2 in order to actually increase the whiteness of the color area A. The method of setting can be mentioned. As the different material 11, for example, a non-woven fabric having a whiteness of 60 or more, crepe paper, pulp, high-quality paper, polyethylene film, polypropylene film and the like can be preferably used. Of these separate materials 11, it is preferable to use hydrophilically treated non-woven fabric, crepe paper, pulp or the like which actually has an absorbing effect.

On the other hand, regarding the formation range of the color area A, when the color area A with high whiteness is close to the outer edge of the product,
In order to remind the user of leakage, it is desirable that the separation width D between the outer edge of the color region A adjacent to the absorbent body 4 and the outline of the sanitary napkin 1 is 3 mm or more.

By the way, the formation mode of the hip hold flap HF is arbitrary. For example, as in this example, it is generally formed by the liquid-impermeable back sheet 2 and the side nonwoven fabric 7. However, when the three-dimensional gather BS is not provided, the liquid-permeable top sheet 3 is used as the product outer edge. It may be formed by adhering to the liquid-impervious back sheet 2 and extending up to. Further, only the liquid-impermeable backsheet 2 may be extended and formed, or only the side nonwoven fabric 7 or the liquid-permeable topsheet 3 may be extended and formed. Further, another sheet piece may be attached and formed.

EXAMPLE As shown in FIG. 8, a sheet A resembling a liquid impermeable back sheet 2, a sheet B resembling another material 11 and a sheet C resembling a liquid permeable top sheet 3 are shown in FIG. The sheets A to C are laminated as shown, the laminated portion of the sheets A to C is the A surface (color area A), the laminated portion of the sheets A and C is the B surface (color area B), and the whiteness of the A surface and the B surface are Sensory evaluation was performed based on the difference in whiteness from the whiteness. The whiteness was measured with a Hunter-type whiteness meter (manufactured by Nippon Denshoku Kogyo) according to JIS P 8123, and the sensory evaluation was performed by 20 female monitors for the sense of security of the hip hold part. The evaluation was made into four grades: ⊚: very reassuring, ∘: reassuring, Δ: somewhat reassuring, ×: unsure or not reassuring. The results are shown in Table 1.
