【請求項２】 正面側に開口する筺形の本体キャビネットと、
複数の図柄が表示された回転リール及びこの回転リールを回転させるための駆動モータを有するリールユニットと、
遊技メダルを払い出すためのホッパーユニットと、
前記回転リール及びホッパーユニットの作動を制御するための主基板と、
電源装置とを少なくとも有するスロットマシンにおいて、
前記本体キャビネットの内部に、前記開口を上下二つの開口に仕切る中板を取り付け、
前記中板上側が形成する開口上部を開閉自在に塞ぐ上扉と、前記中板下側が形成する開口下部を開閉自在に塞ぐ下扉とを設け、
前記中板上側には、少なくとも前記リールユニット及び主基板を交換可能に配置し、前記中板下側には、少なくとも前記ホッパーユニット及び設定変更など店が遊技機の特性を変更するための操作装置を固定し、
前記上扉は、本体キャビネットの開口上部を施錠可能に形成すると共に、前記下扉は、本体キャビネットの開口下部を施錠可能に形成し、
前記上扉の解錠手段は、前記下扉の解錠手段とは別個に設け、

【請求項３】 前記仕切部材に、設定変更など店が遊技機の特性を変更するための操作装置を設けたことを特徴とする請求項１記載のスロットマシン。
【請求項４】 前記電源装置の少なくとも操作部が、前記仕切部材の下方となるように取り付けたことを特徴とする請求項１又は３記載のスロットマシン。
【請求項５】 設定変更など店が遊技機の特性を変更するための操作装置の、少なくとも操作部が前記仕切部材の下方となるように取り付けたことを特徴とする請求項３又は４記載のスロットマシン。
【請求項６】 前記上扉の解錠手段は、前記下扉、前記上扉若しくは下扉及び上扉の裏側、又は、前記下扉、前記上扉若しくは下扉及び上扉の後方に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項１乃至５のいずれか１項に記載のスロットマシン。
【請求項７】 前記上扉は、遊技場の集中管理システムによる指令に基づいて解錠されるように形成したことを特徴とする請求項１乃至６のいずれか１項に記載のスロットマシン。

【従来の技術】
従来のスロットマシンは、正面側に開口する筺形の本体キャビネットと、本体キャビネットの開口部を開閉自在に塞ぐ前扉とから成り、本体キャビネットの内部に、リールユニット、払い出し装置、これらを制御する制御装置等が固定設置され、全体が構成されていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記した従来のスロットマシンにおいては、例えば払い出し装置のトラブルや、払い出すためのメダルが無くなってしまったときなど、遊技者の目の前で前扉を開放しなければならない場合には、前扉を開くとスロットマシン内部が丸見えとなってしまい、重要部品が遊技者の目に触れて好ましくない。また、前扉さえ解錠できれば、基板等の制御装置を不正に交換することも簡単にできてしまう。

そこで、各請求項にそれぞれ記載された各発明は、上記した従来の技術の有する問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、遊技の重要な部分を制御する制御装置などが、外部から操作されたり取り替えられたりしないように、重要部分を確実にガードすることができるとともに、通常の店側の操作もスムースに行うことができるスロットマシンを提供しようとするものである。

各請求項にそれぞれ記載された各発明は、上記した各目的を達成するためになされたものであり、各発明の特徴点を図面に示した発明の実施の形態を用いて、以下に説明する。

請求項１記載の発明は、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、請求項１記載の発明は、正面側に開口する筺形の本体キャビネット１と、複数の図柄が表示された回転リール23及びこの回転リールを回転させるための駆動モータを有するリールユニット22と、遊技メダルを払い出すための払い出し装置と、前記回転リール23及び払い出し装置の作動を制御するための制御装置と、電源装置とを少なくとも有するスロットマシンにおいて、前記本体キャビネット１の内部に、前記開口を上下二つの開口に仕切る仕切部材を取り付け、前記仕切部材上側が形成する開口上部13を開閉自在に塞ぐ上扉30と、前記仕切部材の下側が形成する開口下部14を開閉自在に塞ぐ下扉40とを設け、前記仕切部材の上側には、少なくとも前記リールユニット22及び制御装置を配置し、前記仕切部材には、少なくとも電源装置を取り付け、前記上扉30は、本体キャビネット１の開口上部13を施錠可能に形成すると共に、前記下扉40は、本体キャビネット１の開口下部14を施錠可能に形成し、前記上扉30の解錠手段は、前記下扉40の解錠手段とは別個に設け、前記下扉40は、外部から解錠可能に形成されており、前記上扉30は、前記下扉40を解錠しなければ解錠不能であるように形成されていることを特徴とする。

本発明は、前扉３を上下二分割し、おのおのが別個に施錠及び解錠されるように形成したスロットマシンである。
本発明においては、前記本体キャビネット１の開口部11は、仕切部材により上下二つの開口（開口上部13及び開口下部14）に仕切られており、開口上部13の内側、すなわち仕切部材の上側には、リールユニット22及び制御装置が配置されている。

ここで、前記仕切部材としては、中板12等が挙げられるが、開口部11を上下二つの開口（開口上部13及び開口下部14）に仕切ることができるものであればよい。
また、前記制御装置としては、例えば配線基板に制御用電子部品一式が搭載されてなる電子基板（単に基板ということもある）等が挙げられるが、回転リール23と払い出し装置の作動を制御することができる装置であればよい。スロットマシンでは、回転リールと払い出し装置の作動を制御することができる基板を、通常、主基板と称している。これは、回転リールと払い出し装置の作動以外、例えば画像表示装置や演出用リールや演出用のその他の表示装置などの演出用装置などを制御することができる基板として副基板を備えるようにした場合に、この副基板と区別するためである。制御装置は、前記主基板及び副基板を搭載した基板ユニット24として形成することができる。

また、前記リールユニット22は、表面に複数の図柄が表示される回転リール23を複数（例えば３個）有し、各回転リール23の回転軸にはこれらを回転させるための駆動モータがそれぞれ設けられているものである。
なお、仕切部材の上側に配置されるのはリールユニット22及び制御装置に限られず、他の構成部品が含まれていてもよい。

一方、前記本体キャビネット１の開口下部14の内側、すなわち仕切部材の下側には、少なくとも電源装置が設けられている。この場合、電源装置は、少なくとも操作部が仕切部材の下方となるように取り付けることもできる。
なお、前記払い出し装置も、仕切部材の下側に設置することができる。ここで、前記払い出し装置としては、例えばホッパーユニット等が挙げられるが、遊技メダルを払い出すことのできる装置であればよい。

また、前記仕切部材には、設定変更など店が遊技機の特性を変更するための操作装置（以下設定変更装置という）が設けられていても良い。この場合、設定変更装置の、少なくとも操作部が仕切部材の下方となるように取り付けることもできる。この設定変更装置と、前記電源装置とをあわせて、電源ユニット４を形成してもよい。

前記上扉30は、下扉40とともに前扉３を構成するものであり、上扉30及び下扉40を閉じると本体キャビネット１の開口部11を塞ぎ、スロットマシンの正面構造となるように形成されているものである。すなわち、上扉30及び下扉40に、回転リール23を見ることができる図柄表示窓32や、スロットマシンを操作するための操作部41等を設けることができるものである。

そして、前記上扉30は、前記リールユニット22及び制御装置が収納された開口上部13を施錠可能に形成されており、一方前記下扉40は、開口下部14を施錠可能に形成されている。
さらに、上扉30と下扉40とは別々に解錠されるようになっているとともに、上扉30の解錠条件を下扉40の解錠としたものである。
前記下扉40の解錠手段は、外部から解錠するものである。例えば、下扉40の正面側に設けた鍵穴44から所定の鍵を差し込んで解錠するものとすることができる。
一方、前記上扉30の解錠手段は、下扉40を解錠しなければ操作不可能に形成されている。例えば、閉扉時には、上扉30の解錠手段が外部からは操作できない場所、例えば下扉40の内側に位置するように形成することができる。あるいは、下扉40が解錠されることにより操作可能となる鍵を取り付けてもよい。

（作用）
前記払い出し装置及び電源装置は、メダル詰まり等のトラブル解消や、遊技機の電源スイッチを入れる等、ホールの従業員により頻繁に操作する必要がある一方、前記制御装置については、逆に特定の人でなければ操作できないようにすることが望ましい。本発明によれば、頻繁に扉を開ける必要のある開口下部13と、重要部品の収納された開口上部14とを別個に施錠し、かつ別個に解錠することができる。

なお、本発明は、例えば、リールユニット22と、リールユニット22及び遊技メダルの払い出し装置の作動を制御する制御装置とからなる交換ユニット２を、本体キャビネット１から着脱自在に形成した分離型スロットマシンなどにも適用することができる。

請求項２記載の発明は、次の点を特徴とする。

本発明は、分離型スロットマシンとして、前扉３を上下二分割し、おのおのが別個に施錠及び解錠されるように形成したものである。
本発明においては、前記本体キャビネット１の開口部11は、中板12により上下二つの開口（開口上部13及び開口下部14）に仕切られており、開口上部13の内側、すなわち中板12の上側には、リールユニット22及び主基板が交換可能に配置されている。ここで、主基板は、ＲＯＭ、ＲＡＭ、ＣＰＵ等を有し、主として、当選の抽選や回転リール23の停止制御など遊技を制御するものであり、これを交換すると遊技内容を変更することができる。また、前記リールユニット22は、表面に複数の図柄が表示される回転リール23を複数（例えば３個）有し、各回転リール23の回転軸にはこれらを回転させるための駆動モータがそれぞれ設けられているものである。

上記したリールユニット22及び主基板は、遊技内容を変更すると、回転リール23の図柄や図柄配置を変更する必要もあることから、セットで交換できるようにされているものである。交換は、両者を一体として行うのが望ましいが、別々に取り替え可能としてもよい。なお、中板12の上側に配置されるのはリールユニット22及び主基板に限られず、他の構成部品、例えば演出を制御するための副基板などが含まれていてもよい。

一方、前記本体キャビネット１の開口下部14の内側、すなわち中板12の下側には、ホッパーユニット５及び操作装置が固定されている。ここで、ホッパーユニット５は、入賞によりメダルを払い出すとともにメダルを貯留しておくためのものである。また、前記操作装置は、遊技機の設定変更をするための店操作部100や、スロットマシンの電源を入れるための電源装置などとともに、電源ユニット４として形成することができる。

前記上扉30は、下扉40とともに前扉３を構成するものであり、上扉30及び下扉40を閉じると本体キャビネット１の開口部11を塞ぎ、スロットマシンの正面構造となるように形成されているものである。すなわち、上扉30及び下扉40に、回転リール23を見ることができる図柄表示窓32や、スロットマシンを操作するための操作部41等を設けることができるものである。この上扉30及び下扉40は、本体キャビネット１に固着されていてもよいし、分離可能に形成されていてもよい。

そして、前記上扉30は、前記リールユニット22及び主基板が収納された開口上部13を施錠可能に形成されており、一方前記下扉40は、前記ホッパーユニット５及び操作装置が収納固定された開口下部14を施錠可能に形成されている。
さらに、上扉30と下扉40とは別々に解錠されるようになっているとともに、上扉30の解錠条件を下扉40の解錠としたものである。
前記下扉40の解錠手段は、外部から解錠するものである。例えば、下扉40の正面側に設けた鍵穴44から所定の鍵を差し込んで解錠するものとすることができる。
一方、前記上扉30の解錠手段は、下扉40を解錠しなければ操作不可能に形成されている。例えば、閉扉時には、上扉30の解錠手段が外部からは操作できない場所、例えば下扉40の内側に位置するように形成することができる。あるいは、下扉40が解錠されることにより操作可能となる鍵を取り付けてもよい。

本発明によれば、上扉30の解錠手段は、下扉40の裏側、又は上扉30の裏側、又は扉40と上扉30の双方の裏側に設けることができ、あるいは、下扉40の後方、又は上扉30の後方、又は扉40と上扉30の双方の後方に設けることができる。
ここで、扉の「裏側」とは、閉扉状態において、外部から見ることや触れることのできない扉の部分のことであり、また、扉の「後方」とは、扉の「裏側」よりも奥側であって、必ずしも扉の部分ではない場所を意味するものである。

ここで、「遊技場の集中管理システムによる・・解錠」とは、例えば、各スロットマシンの解錠手段をホールコンピュータの管理下におくもの、すなわち、ホールコンピュータを操作し解錠指令を出さなければ、解錠することができないようにするものである。なお、前記集中管理システムは、下扉30の解錠についても管理可能であってもかまわない。

本発明によれば、遊技場の集中管理システムの解錠指令が無いと、たとえ下扉40が解錠されており、上扉30の解錠手段が操作可能な状態にあったとしても、上扉30を解錠することができないようにすることができる。

本実施の形態における分離型スロットマシンは、図１に示すように、大きく分けて、正面側に開口部11を有する本体キャビネット１、本体キャビネット１内部に着脱自在に設けられる交換ユニット２、本体キャビネット１の開口上部13を開閉可能に塞ぐ上扉30、本体キャビネット１の開口下部14を開閉可能に塞ぐ下扉40とから構成されている。

（本体キャビネット１）
本体キャビネット１は、底板15及び側板16及び天板及び裏板からなる正面側に開口する筺体であり、高さ方向略中央部には、二つの側板16の間に水平方向に中板12が設けられている。そして、この中板12の下面には電源ユニット４が設けられ、底板15にはホッパーユニット５が固定されている。

ここで、電源ユニット４は、中板12の下面に、取り付け板等を介して取り付けられており、特に図示しないが電源装置及び遊技機の設定変更を行うための設定変更装置が内装されていると共に、電源スイッチ110、設定変更スイッチ120等の店操作部100を有している。
ところで、前記電源ユニット４を、図１等に示すように中板12の下方に設けると、ホッパーユニット５から溢れたメダルを受けて貯めておくためのタンク200を別の場所に配置する必要なく、操作しやすい位置に店操作部100を配置することができる。というのは、前記タンク200は、この内部にメダルが満杯になったときにメダルを取り出すために店員などが取り外し、メダルを取りだした後再び元の場所に設置するという様に使用されるものである。従って、扉を少し開けただけで取り出すことができ、しかも手を奥に差し入れることなく手前側で出し入れできるように、前扉３の係合部６とは反対側に配置されるのが好ましい。しかし、タンク200をこの位置に設置すると、電源ユニット４を同じ位置に設置するのはスペース上難しく、かといって電源ユニット４が前扉３の係合部６側にあると、操作をするのに扉を全開しなければならず、都合が悪い。よって、電源ユニット４を中板12の下方に、少なくとも店操作部100が中板12の下方に位置するように設けるのが好ましい。

さらに、前記電源ユニット４に関しては、店操作部100（すなわち電源スイッチ110と設定変更スイッチ120）のみをスイッチユニットとして中板12の下方に配置し、電源装置や設定変更をするための装置は別の場所、例えば開口上部13内に設けてもよい。
上記電源ユニット４及びホッパーユニット５は、交換ユニット２の交換に際し、必ずしも交換する必要のないものであり、交換時には設置されたままにしておけるようになっているものである。

また、側板16の正面左側の下部には、前記下扉40を係合させ、回転自在に支持するための本体係合部62が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられている。
さらに、本体係合部62の対向側の側板16には、下扉40を閉めた際、下扉40をロックするための突出片90（ロック機構７）が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられている。

なお、本実施の形態においては、メダルを貯留すると共にメダルを払い出す払い出し装置としてホッパーユニット５を有するスロットマシンとしたが、遊技メダルを払い出すことのできる装置であれば、ホッパーユニット５以外の装置が代わりに設けられていてもよい。
また、中板12は仕切部材として用いられているものであるが、これがあることにより、本体キャビネット１の開口上部13と開口下部14とを完全に分離することができ、開口下部14が開放された状態で開口上部13に設置されている装置に異物を挿入する等の不正行為を防ぐことができる。従って、仕切部材としては、開口部11を上下二つの開口（開口上部13及び開口下部14）に仕切ることができるものであれば、板材でなくともよい。

（交換ユニット２）
交換ユニット２は、種々の部品を設置あるいは固定するための支持体としての枠体21と、この枠体21に固定されたリールユニット22及び基板ユニット24とから形成されている。
ここで、リールユニット22は、周囲に複数の図柄を表示した複数の回転リール23と、特に図示しないが、回転リール23を回転させるための駆動モータを有している。また、前記基板ユニット24には、遊技及びスロットマシンの作動を制御するための主基板と、各種演出を行うための副基板が含まれている。前記主基板及び副基板は、スロットマシンの制御装置として機能する。

前記枠体21の正面左側の縦枠には、前記上扉30を回転自在に係合するための枠体係合部60が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられている。
さらに、枠体係合部60の対向側の縦枠には、上扉30を閉めた際、上扉30をロックするための突出片90（ロック機構７）が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられている。

交換ユニット２は、本体キャビネット１の中板12の上に乗せ、開口上部13内部に収納されるものである。そして、固定装置10により本体キャビネット１に固着される。
なお、支持体としては枠体21に限られず、リールユニット22及び基板ユニット24等の機器を設置することが可能な強度を有する構造体であればよい。

上扉30は、交換ユニット２の枠体21に回転自在かつロック可能に形成されている板状の扉であり、略中央部に前記回転リール23の図柄を正面側から見ることができる図柄表示窓31を有し、周囲に飾り部33を設けてある。そして、種々の表示を行うための表示装置32が設けられているものである。
