自動車の情報制御装置におけるソフトウェアの適合方法であって新規ソフトウェアの動作確認を行うに当たり、予め定められたテストデータを用いて自動車の動作評価を行う評価シミュレータを用い、該評価シミュレータに旧ソフトウェアを組み込み得られた第1の演算結果と、上記評価シミュレータに新規ソフトウェアを組み込み得られた第2の演算結果を統計処理し、該統計処理の結果、第2の演算結果が第1の演算結果に比べて目的とする望ましい方向に自動車の機能が向上する様に新規ソフトウェアの演算アルゴリズム,処理方法を評価,修正し、修正,確認された新規ソフトウェアを対象とする自動車の制御装置に組み込むことを特徴とするソフトウェアの適合方法。

請求項3記載のソフトウェアの適合装置において、モジュール単位にソフトウェアの入れ替えを行うに当たり、旧ソフトウェアの動作時に新たに組みこまれた該当モジュールの新規ソフトウェアを並列に動作させ、旧ソフトウェアと新規ソフトウェアの入力情報は同一のデータとし、旧ソフトウェアの演算出力と新規ソフトウェアの演算出力の差分を、別途組みこまれているソフトウェア評価機能の入力として、該評価機能の出力により新規ソフトウェアの出力が旧ソフトウェアの出力よりも目的とする望ましい方向に機能改善されていることを評価し、望ましい方向に機能改善されていない場合は、新規ソフトウェアのパラメータを修正,改善し、望ましい方向に機能改善されている場合は、該新規ソフトウェアの出力を順次旧ソフトウェアの出力に入れ替えて、ソフトウェアの更新,変更,追加を行うことを特徴とするソフトウェアの適合装置。
