Claims (5)

  1. 流体が噴射するように作られた少なくとも一つのオリフィスを有するフロントを具備している流体噴射ヘッドにおいて：
    該フロントがその外表面に凸状バルジを有していて、該オリフィスが該バルジを貫通して配置されており、該バルジは該バルジをおおう空気の層流を促進するために滑らかな翼型形状に作られている、
    ところの流体噴射ヘッド。
  2. 該オリフィスが該バルジの最外端部に配置されているところの請求項１に記載の流体噴射ヘッド。
  3. 該バルジが、該バルジの該最外端部の一方側から傾斜している上流側スロープと、該最外端部の対向側から傾斜している下流側スロープとを有していて、さらに、該バルジの該最外端部に垂直な面に対して、該バルジの該上流側スロープはθｕの角度でありかつ該下流側スロープはθｄの角度であって、θｕ及びθｄが約４５°未満であるところの、請求項１に記載の流体噴射ヘッド。
  4. θｕが約３０°〜５°であり、θｕはθｄより大きいところの、請求項３に記載の流体噴射ヘッド。
  5. 該流体噴射ヘッドが、インクジェット式印刷ヘッドとしての役割を果す複数のオリフィスを形成されていて、該複数のオリフィスは、約０．０３３mm（約０．００１３in）〜約０．６１０mm（約０．０２４in）の内径と、約０．１０２mm（約０．００４in）〜約０．３８mm（約０．０１５in）のピッチとを有しているところの、請求項３に記載の流体噴射ヘッド。
