【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、ランプソケットを
備えた照明器具に関する。

【従来の技術】コンパクト蛍光ランプと白熱ランプがと
もに装着可能であるソケットを備えた照明器具は公知で
あって、発熱の大きい白熱ランプを前記ソケットに装着
すると耐熱温度に問題が発生しやすいため、装着できな
いようにしていた。その手段としてはバルブ径の大きな
白熱ランプには邪魔当りする棒状のものをソケットの近
傍において別途設けたりしていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、そのような棒
状のものを別途設けるのは組み付け工数が増加してコス
ト高になりやすい。そこで、本発明は、白熱ランプの装
着を簡単確実に不可能ならしめる照明器具を提供するこ
とを目的とする。

【発明の実施の形態】次に、本発明の実施形態を説明す
るが、それはあくまで本発明に基づいて採択された例示
的な実施形態であり、本発明をその実施形態に特有な事

等価である事項に基づいて定めなければならない。
【0006】図示の実施形態は、コンパクト蛍光ランプ
1または2と白熱ランプ3がともに装着可能であるソケ
ット4を備えた照明器具であって、前記ソケット4の前
面に前記ソケット4に向かって内径がすぼまった筒状の
反射笠5を備えるとともに、この反射笠5において前記
ソケット4の近傍に内向きの突部6を一体に形成し、コ
ンパクト蛍光ランプ1または2は前記突部6に邪魔され
ずに前記ソケット4に装着可能であるが、白熱ランプ3
は前記突部6に邪魔されて前記ソケット4に装着不可能
である照明器具である。
【0007】さらに詳述すれば、この照明器具は天井7
に取り付けられた本体8の下面に前記ソケット4が固定
され、本体8には適宜手段で樹脂製の反射笠5が取り付
けられている。
【0008】図1において、コンパクト蛍光ランプとし
ては2種のものが同時に図示され、1は低Wのもの、2
は高Wのものであり、いずれも突部6に邪魔されずに前
記ソケット4に装着可能である。一方、図2のように、
白熱ランプ3はバルブ外径が大きいため、前記突部6に
邪魔されて前記ソケット4に装着不可能となっている。
【0009】本実施形態によれば、白熱ランプ3を誤っ
てソケット4に装着するおそれがないため、温度上昇の
面で安心であり、しかも突部6を反射笠5に一体に形成
