The control means K3, in step S3,
If the counter C is equal to or more than the calculated number X, a new determination result from the determination means K1 is input (step S4), and when it is determined that the product is a non-defective product, the packaging bag P to be the determination target A control signal is output to the cutting mechanism 8 so as to cut and cut the substantially central portion of the horizontal seal portion 2B (step S6), and if it is determined that the product is defective in the determination result, the cutting process as in step S6. The counter D is incremented without performing (step S
7). Therefore, the control means K3 does not perform the cutting process on the packaging bag P having a defective seal, so that the contents W can be prevented from leaking from the packaging bag P. Further, since the packaging bag P thus formed is in the continuous packaging state, the packaging bag P having a defective seal can be easily identified.

Next, the control means K3 increments the counter C (step S8) and then compares the defect occurrence frequency Y with the counter D (step S9). If the counter D is equal to or greater than the defect occurrence frequency Y, A control signal for urging the apparatus to stop is output to the driving means K4 (step S10), and a control signal for controlling the operator to notify that the apparatus has stopped is output to the informing means K5 (step S1).

By repeating the processing operation of the control means K3, the filling is promptly performed based on the stop condition (the rate of occurrence of the defect occurrence frequency Y in the calculated number X) according to the defect occurrence frequency set by the input means K1. Since the packaging device can be stopped, it is possible to prevent a large amount of extra defective products from being produced, and the filling and packaging device has good productivity.
