【請求項１】 作動可能に組み合わせた可膨張部材を膨らませるのに充分な量のガス状生成物を生成するようになっているインフレータ装置であって、第１ステージ・ガス源と、第１位置でこの第１ステージ・ガス源と流体連通し、第２位置で可膨張部材と流体連通する第２ステージ・ガス源とを包含し、前記第２ステージ・ガス源が、蒸発時に可膨張部材を膨らませるのに充分な量の液化ガスを含有し、第１ステージ・ガス源が、第２ステージ・ガス源内の液化ガスのほとんどすべてを蒸発させるに充分に高い温度で充分な量のガスを提供することができることを特徴とするインフレータ装置。
