This means that the sanitary napkin will not move longitudinally as a result of the wearer's body movement.
Reduces the undesirable tendency of gathering to the side, which
A more comfortable product that can maintain good body contact throughout the movement of the wearer
Occurs. The main body of the sanitary napkin 20 has overall extensibility.
Therefore, in the sanitary napkin 20 of the present invention, each part of the sanitary napkin 20 is used by the wearer.
Rubbing the wearer's skin, resulting in improved ability to respond to localized movements of the body
Or the tendency to stimulate it.
The preferred embodiment of the sanitary napkin 20 shown in FIGS.
Is stretchable by the amount described in the following patent. That is, these patents are

Or about 250 grams and about 800 grams when stretched.
Is possible. The sanitary napkin 20 of the present invention is also described in the above publication.
Any other features of the sanitary napkin may be provided. This includes
An amount without substantial increase in the amount of force applied to the sanitary napkin
A structure that generates a "force wall" for preventing the above elongation is included.
Further, in some particularly preferred embodiments described in more detail herein,
Thus, the various elements of the sanitary napkin 20 are at the lower end of the widest range (lo).

In that case, a smaller amount of stretching is possible. For example, in such an embodiment,
The sanitary napkin 20 is preferably about 2. 5% more
Preferably about 3%, and about 5% at a force of 200 grams, more preferably about 7. 5%
It can be stretched. Absorbers with a small amount of extensibility when subjected to low forces
Walls can also occur at low elongation, eg, about 5% elongation, but up to about 50% elongation.
But it can happen.
The sanitary napkin 20 is preferably configured for the entire movement predicted by the wearer's body.
Stretchable in an amount sufficient to fit the range. Such stretchability is also favorable.
Preferably, the same force that is typically exerted on the sanitary napkin by the wearer's body
It is also shown when receiving The sanitary napkin 20 of the present invention is a

It could be configured as such. The wearer's panties are sanitary napkin 20
Can provide a useful benchmark for obtaining the desired stretchability. The reason is bread
The tee is generally exercised on these by the wearer's body movements and the wearer's body.
This is because it is designed to match the power of For example, underwear is about 5% (or about
10%) when a force to stretch is needed, a sanitary napkin (ie,
The body portion) requires the same amount of stretching force. This is preferably underwear

Glued directly to the skin. Top used in the embodiment shown in FIGS.
The sheet 38 is preferably elastically extensible and as soft and soft as possible
And does not irritate the user's skin. Topsheet 38 also provides good bleed-through
And a lower tendency to rewet. This reduces body emissions
It quickly penetrates and flows towards the core 42, but such emissions form the topsheet 38.
Through the skin of the wearer.
Suitable topsheets 38 can be manufactured from a wide range of materials. this
Include woven and nonwoven materials, apertured thermoplastic films, apertured plastics

Or may be composed of a combination of natural fibers and synthetic fibers
. If the topsheet 38 comprises a nonwoven web, this web is
Hand, card, wetlay, meltblown, hydroentangled
Or a combination of the above.
Opening films are generally preferred for the topsheet 38 because of these reasons.
If liquid is permeable to liquid and is properly opened
This is because the tendency to wet the skin of the person again is reduced. Suitable aperture films are:
