As shown in (1), a bush is known in which a cylindrical rubber elastic body (52) having a circular cross section of a required thickness is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical inner cylindrical fitting (51) by vulcanization bonding means. ing. The rubber isolator (52) is press-fitted and fixed to a mounting hole of a support-side member such as the arm via a collar member (C) also serving as an outer cylinder.
Usually, flange edges (53) are provided at both ends in the axial direction of the rubber elastic body (52) to facilitate axial positioning when press-fitting the collar member and to suppress excessive axial displacement in the assembled state. ) Is provided.

Is formed slightly larger than the inner diameter of the collar member (C), that is, the press-fitting diameter, and the main rubber portion (54) is compressed so that the stability of the press-fitting state can be secured. A peripheral groove (55) is formed between the main rubber portion (54) and the flange edge (53) so that the flange edge (53) can escape during the press-fitting.

Pressing into the collar member becomes difficult, and there is a risk of rubber cracking or breakage. On the other hand, if the outer diameter of the main rubber portion is reduced, the fixed state by press fitting becomes unstable.

It has been proposed to form (56) and reduce the rubber volume while securing the outer diameter.

There is a possibility that the axis of the vibration bush is inclined and eccentric with respect to the axis of the collar member. If the eccentricity occurs, there arises a problem that a connecting member such as a bolt cannot be inserted into the inner cylinder fitting (51).

In spite of the fact that the outer diameter of the main rubber portion is larger than the inner diameter of the collar member, the rubber portion between the grooves is compressed so as to crush the space of the groove, so that the rubber member can be securely pressed into the collar member without any problem. Is done.

For this reason, at the time of press-fitting, the bushing axis is inclined with respect to the axis of the collar member, and the press-fitting can be performed without fear of eccentricity, and a good and stable press-fitting state can be obtained. In addition, the axial length of the collar member can be increased, and a more stable press-fit state can be maintained.

Thereby, at the time of press-fitting to the collar member, the flange edge can be elastically bent and deformed into the portion of the peripheral groove so that the flange can be press-fitted without any problem. Since a plurality of grooves in the direction are formed, press-fitting can be performed without causing inclination or eccentricity as described above. Also, the axial groove is
It is preferable that the groove is formed at an interval of about twice or more the width of the groove, and is formed so that the portion between the grooves is crushed by press-fitting the collar member. Accordingly, there is no gap between the main rubber portion of the rubber elastic body and the collar member due to the groove, and the press-fit state is further stabilized.

たものになる。In the press-fitting process, since an axial groove (6) is formed on the outer peripheral portion of the main rubber portion (4), the rubber volume is smaller than that of a groove having substantially the same diameter and having no groove. Therefore, despite the fact that the outer diameter of the main rubber portion (4) is larger than the inner diameter of the collar member, the rubber portion between the grooves (6) and (6) occupies the space of the groove (6). It is compressed so as to be crushed, and is securely pressed into the collar member (C) without any problem. In particular, since the groove (6) is formed in the axial direction, the main rubber portion (4) is substantially uniformly compressed and pressed at any position in the axial direction. Therefore, the bush axis is inclined with respect to the axis of the collar member (C), so that the bush can be directly press-fitted without causing eccentricity.
In particular, even if the length of the collar member (C) in the axial direction is increased, press-fitting can be similarly performed. Therefore, a good and stable press-fit state can be obtained. Particularly, as shown in FIG. 4, the rubber elastic body (2) is compressed so that no gap is formed between the main rubber portion (4) and the collar member (C) by the groove (6). , And the press-fit state becomes more stable.
