Specifically, the sheet substrate of the present invention has at least a surface layer containing 30 to 90% by weight, preferably 50 to 90% by weight, more preferably 60 to 80% by weight of hydrophilic fibers, The fiber contains 10 to 70% by weight, preferably 10 to 50% by weight, more preferably 20 to 40% by weight. Specific fibers are used as the hydrophobic fibers (the specific fibers will be described later). The hydrophilic fiber and the hydrophobic fiber are contained in such a ratio, and by using a specific fiber as the hydrophobic fiber, the feeling of the sheet substrate of the present invention is improved, and the usability at the time of wiping is improved. . More specifically, if the proportion of the hydrophilic fibers is less than 30% by weight, the impregnating property and the holding ability of the wiping base are deteriorated, and if it exceeds 90% by weight, the wiping base is gradually reduced. It is hard to let go. On the other hand, if the ratio of the hydrophobic fiber is less than 10% by weight, the sheet base material does not have an appropriate rigidity (stiffness), and the wiping property at the time of wiping is reduced. If there is, the sheet base becomes hard and the texture deteriorates.

[0008] The sheet substrate of the present invention comprises at least the surface layer of a nonwoven fabric containing hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers in the above-mentioned ratio. Among them, the low-density, the base for wiping spreads evenly on the skin, the skin feel is good, and the production is easy. Lace nonwoven fabric).
The spunlaced nonwoven fabric is obtained in a conventional manner, for example, by forming a staple fiber through a carding machine to form a web, and subjecting the web to hydroentanglement with a high-pressure jet water stream.

It has an impregnation capacity capable of impregnating 0%, more preferably 200-500% of the wiping base. 100% impregnation capacity
If the amount is less than the above, the cleaning property of the dirt is not sufficient, and if the amount exceeds 1000%, the holding of the wiping base becomes difficult and the wiping base becomes easily sticky to the hand.

Furthermore, the sheet substrate of the present invention contains hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers in the above-mentioned ratio, and the specific fibers are used as the hydrophobic fibers, so that the wiping base is 300%. The release rate of the wiping base under the condition of being impregnated and applying a load of 48 g / cm 2 is 5 to 75%, preferably 6 to 60%, more preferably 7 to 50%. If the release rate is less than 5%, the amount of the wiping base released from the sheet substrate is not sufficient, and the dirt cannot be sufficiently removed, and if it exceeds 75%, the dirt spreads conversely. The wiping base released from the sheet substrate dissolves skin stains and is then sucked back into the sheet substrate. This removes skin stains. The reason for measuring the release rate under the condition of applying a load of 48 g / cm 2 is that the load is a general load applied to the sheet when a person wipes the skin with the sheet.

The release rate is measured in the following manner. 50mm
A sheet base having a size of 100 mm is impregnated with 300% of a wiping base with respect to the weight of the sheet base. The weight of the impregnated wiping base is referred to as a liquid amount A. Next, the sheet substrate is folded in half to a size of 50 mm × 50 mm, and the whole is wrapped with a Kim Towel (trade name) manufactured by Crecia Corporation whose weight has been measured in advance. Next, a 50 mm × 50 mm acrylic plate is placed on a sheet base material wrapped with a Kim towel, and a weight is placed thereon to apply a total load of 1200 g (= 48 g / cm 2 ). After loading for 1 minute, the weight and acrylic plate are removed, and the Kim towel is weighed again. A difference is obtained by subtracting the previously measured weight of the Kim towel from the measured weight of the Kim towel. The release rate (%) is calculated by dividing the obtained difference by the previously measured value of the liquid amount A and multiplying by 100.

The sheet base material of the present invention has a bulk softness at the time of drying (before impregnation) of preferably 0.05 to 1 N, more preferably 0.05 to 0.75 N in both the flow direction and the width direction. , More preferably 0.05 to
0.5N. By setting the bulk softness in such a range and the ratio of the hydrophilic fiber and the hydrophobic fiber in the above range, the texture of the sheet substrate of the present invention is further improved, and the feeling of use during wiping is improved. Further improve. In detail, if the bulk softness is less than 0.05 N, the sheet base material becomes too soft, and the wiping property at the time of wiping is reduced. If the bulk softness is more than 1 N, the sheet base material becomes too hard, resulting in poor touch. . Further, by setting the bulk softness within the above range in any of the flow direction and the width direction of the sheet base material, a soft feel can be obtained even when the sheet base material is wiped in any direction. Here, the flow direction refers to the machine direction during the production of the nonwoven fabric constituting the surface layer of the sheet substrate of the present invention, and the width direction refers to a direction orthogonal to the flow direction.

With respect to bulk softness, the sheet substrate of the present invention has a bulk softness value B MD in the flow direction.
There is no particular limitation on the magnitude relationship between the value and the bulk softness value B CD in the width direction, but B MD / B CD = 0.9 to 1.
4, especially 1.0 to 1.3, is preferable because wiping properties and feel are good no matter in which direction, for example, wiping is performed in an oblique direction.

[0015] Bulk softness is measured by the following method. The bulk softness in the flow direction is obtained by cutting a sheet substrate into a size of 30 mm in the flow direction and 150 mm in the width direction to obtain a rectangular test piece. From this test piece, a diameter 45 having the short side direction (30 mm direction) as the height direction.
Make a mm cylinder. The overlap width of the cylinder in the circumferential direction is about 10
mm. The upper and lower ends of the overlapped portion are fixed with a MAX stapler HD-10D, needle No. 10-1M.
The maximum load when the cylindrical measurement sample thus obtained is compressed in the height direction of the cylinder is measured by a compression tester, and the value is defined as the value of bulk softness in the flow direction. The compression tester is R manufactured by Orientec Co., Ltd.
TA-100 type (trade name) was used. Compression speed is 10m
m / min. On the other hand, the bulk softness in the width direction is 30 mm in the width direction and 1 mm in the flow direction.
Cut to a size of 50mm, take a rectangular test piece,
The measurement is performed in the same manner as described above.

The coefficient of friction of the sheet substrate of the present invention when dried (before impregnation) is preferably 0.10 to 0.19, more preferably 0.11 to 0.19, in both the flow direction and the width direction. 19, more preferably 0.13 to 0.1
It is 8. By setting the coefficient of friction in such a range, when the sheet substrate of the present invention is used for wiping the skin, the irritating feeling (stinginess) on the skin is reduced, and the feeling is improved. More specifically, if the friction coefficient is less than 0.10, the friction resistance becomes too small, and the cleaning property against dirt is reduced. If it exceeds 0.19, the feeling of irritation caused by the increase in the friction resistance becomes strong. Further, by setting the coefficient of friction within the above range in both the flow direction and the width direction of the sheet substrate, the sensation of irritation is small and the feel is good even when wiping in any direction.

Next, the hydrophobic fibers and the hydrophilic fibers will be described. As described above, the hydrophobic fiber is made of a polyamide fiber or a core-sheath type composite fiber whose core is made of a polyester resin and whose sheath is made of a polyamide resin or polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). These fibers are suitable as constituent fibers of a sheet substrate for wiping, since they have high flexibility and good elasticity even if they are thick. The hydrophobic fibers may have an irregular cross section. When the hydrophobic fiber is a core-sheath type composite fiber, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is preferable as the polyester resin of the core constituting the composite fiber. Examples of the polyamide resin constituting the hydrophobic fiber include a resin (polyamide 6) obtained by ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactam,
A resin (polyamide 66) obtained by polycondensation of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid can be used. As the hydrophobic fiber, it is preferable to use a PET / PBT core-in-sheath type composite fiber having a PET core and a PBT sheath from the viewpoint that the flexibility is particularly high even if it is thick. Among them, it is preferable to use PET / PBT core-sheath type composite fibers having a crimp rate of 10 to 15% from the viewpoint of productivity and wiping properties. Most preferably, all of the hydrophobic fibers are composed of the above-mentioned fibers, but it is permissible that other types of hydrophobic fibers are contained in small amounts as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired.

The fineness of the hydrophobic fiber is 0.55 to 6.6.
It is preferably decitex, and particularly when it is made of polyamide fiber, 0.99 to 4.4 decitex,
When the core-sheath type composite fiber is used, it is preferably from 1.1 to 5.5 decitex. If the fineness is less than 0.55 dtex, for example, the cardability may be reduced and the production of the sheet substrate may become difficult. If the fineness exceeds 6.6 dtex, the sheet substrate may be hardened and the feel may be poor. In this case, it is most preferable that all the hydrophobic fibers satisfy the fineness in the above range. However, if at least 10% by weight or more, particularly 30% by weight or more of the hydrophobic fibers satisfies the fineness in the above range, the effect of the present invention will be reduced. Played enough.

On the other hand, when the sheet base material of the present invention has a multilayer structure, the basis weight of the surface layer in which the ratio of the hydrophilic fibers to the hydrophobic fibers is as described above is 20 to 110 g / m 2 , especially 25.
It is preferably from 100 to 100 g / m 2 from the viewpoint of shape retention, flexibility and operability, and the thickness is 0.05 to 3.5 mm.
In particular, it is preferable that the thickness is 0.15 to 3.0 mm in terms of usability and portability. The basis weight and thickness of the portion other than the surface layer may be appropriately adjusted so that the basis weight and thickness of the entire sheet base material are the same as in the case of the above-described single-layer structure.

The sheet substrate has a density of 0.01 to 0.2 g / cm 3 , especially 0.03 to 0.2 g / cm 3 , at least in the surface layer in which the ratio of the hydrophilic fiber to the hydrophobic fiber is as described above.
It is preferably 0.15 g / cm 3 from the viewpoint that the impregnating property, release property and spreadability of the wiping base, particularly the emulsion base, are improved. The density is calculated from the basis weight and the thickness of the surface layer. When the sheet substrate has a single-layer structure, the density refers to the density of the entire sheet substrate.

[Wipeability of Sheet Base Impregnated with Emulsion Base] As a model of oily stain, Maybelline Dial Mascara Black manufactured by Maybelline was used. About 20 mg of this mascara was applied to a circle having a radius of about 2 cm on a slide glass, and allowed to stand overnight to dry. Then, a control slide glass was placed on white paper, and the chromaticity (E 0 ) of the blank was determined with a dye meter. Similarly, the chromaticity (E 1 ) of the slide glass coated with mascara was determined. Mascara was wiped 10 times using the sheet base impregnated with the emulsion base. The chromaticity (E 2 ) was determined again, and the cleaning rate (%) as a measure of the wiping performance was determined according to the following equation. The closer the value of the cleaning rate is to 100, the better the wiping property is. Washing rate (%) = (1− (E 0 −E 2 ) / (E 0 −E 1 )) ×
