2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as an electromagnetic relay, a terminal portion of a contact piece is press-fitted into a terminal hole formed in a base to protrude from a bottom surface, and an adhesive is injected into the press-fit portion from the bottom side of the base and fixed. There is something that I did.

However, in most cases, the protruding position of the terminal portion from the base is laterally shifted from the center because the relation of the printed circuit board to be mounted is taken into consideration. That is, the terminal portion is formed at a position that is unbalanced with respect to the contact opening / closing position. For this reason, when stress acts on the terminal portion due to shrinkage when the adhesive cures, the contact piece is displaced, which may directly adversely affect operating characteristics such as a distance between contacts.

According to the present invention, as a means for solving the above-mentioned problems, there is provided a base having a press-fitting recess formed from an upper surface and a terminal hole penetrating from the press-fitting recess to a lower surface. A press-fit portion to be press-fit into the press-fit recess of the base,
A contact portion extending upward from the press-fit portion and having a contact provided at a tip thereof; and a contact portion extending downward from one side edge of the press-fit portion and penetrating through a terminal hole of the base. In an electromagnetic relay comprising a piece and fixing a terminal portion by injecting an adhesive into a terminal hole from the lower surface side of the base, the contact piece has an auxiliary terminal portion on the other side edge of the press-fit portion. And forming an auxiliary terminal hole through which the auxiliary terminal portion is inserted in the press-fit recess of the base.

According to this configuration, not only the terminal portion but also the auxiliary terminal portion can be fixed to the base by injecting an adhesive into not only the terminal hole but also the auxiliary terminal hole from the lower surface of the base. Therefore, even if the base is made thin, the contact piece can be firmly and well-balanced. It is preferable that at least two terminal holes formed in the base be communicated with a concave portion for injecting the adhesive, since the operation of injecting the adhesive can be simplified.

First, the coil terminal 16 is press-fitted into the coil terminal hole 17 formed in the base portion 12, and the coil 8 is wound via the spool 7. Then, a leaf spring 26 provided on the yoke 9 is inserted through the opening 25, and one end of the yoke 9 is caulked and fixed to the lower end of the iron core 6. Thus, the electromagnet 1 is completed. Subsequently, both ends of the coil 8 are wound around the coil terminals 16 respectively. Further, the movable contact piece 30 and the fixed contact piece 31 are press-fitted into the terminal holes 19 and 20 formed in the base portion 12 of the electromagnet 1 so that each terminal portion 35 projects from the lower surface. Thereafter, the movable iron piece 2 is arranged between the upper end 10 of the yoke 9 and the leaf spring 26, and is supported rotatably.

Next, the support shaft 28 of the card 3 is arranged in the groove 22 of the base portion 12, the first projection 29a is brought into contact with the pressing portion 27 of the movable iron piece 2, and the second projection is
Contact. Thereby, the elastic force of the movable contact piece 30 acts on the movable iron piece 2 via the card 3, and the movable iron piece 2
One end is separated from the suction part 6a of the iron core 6, and the position is regulated. Further, since the pressing portion 27 is formed in a concave shape that gradually becomes thinner toward the tip, even before the electromagnet 1 is excited, the upward movement of the first protrusion 29a, that is, the card 3 is prevented.

Here, the electromagnet 1 is excited to check the operation characteristics. In this case, when the movable iron piece 2 rotates, the pressing portion 2
7, the first protrusion 29a of the card 3 is pressed.
Since the pressing portion 27 has the above-described shape, a force acts to press the card 3 toward the base portion 12. Therefore, the displacement of the support shaft 28 of the card 3 from the groove 22 of the base does not occur, and the inspection of the operation characteristics can be appropriately performed.

When the inspection is completed, the case 5 is put on the base portion 12, the engaging protrusion 24 of the pedestal portion 14 is engaged with the engaging hole 42 of the case 5, and the bottom surface of the base portion 12 is sealed. Complete the electromagnetic relay. In this case, the sealant does not enter the support shaft 28 of the card 3 or the like. Also, the holding portion 44 of the extension portion 43 formed on the case 5 reliably prevents the support shaft 28 of the card 3 from dropping out of the groove 22 of the base. The position of the extending portion 43 itself is prevented by the locking portion 45 being locked in the locking groove 23.

When the electromagnet 1 that does not energize the coil 8 is not excited, the movable contact piece 30 stands upright by its own elastic force, and the movable contact 32 faces the fixed contact 37 at a predetermined interval. In addition, the movable iron piece 2 is centered on the support portion 10 of the yoke 9 via the card 3 by the elastic force of the movable contact piece 30.

When the coil 8 is energized to excite the electromagnet 1, one end of the movable iron piece 2 is attracted to the attracting portion 6a of the iron core 6, and the movable iron piece 2 is supported by the support 10 of the yoke 9 as a fulcrum in FIG. It rotates in the counterclockwise direction. Thus, the card 3 whose first protrusion 29 a is pressed by the pressing portion 27 of the movable iron piece 2 rotates clockwise in FIG. 1 around the support shaft 28 provided in the groove 22 of the base 12. The card 3 is pressed by the pressing portion 27 of the movable iron piece 2 into the base portion 1.
The support shaft 28 is rotated while being pressed to the side 2, and the support shaft 28 is formed by a pressing portion 44 formed on the case 5.
Is reliably prevented. Therefore, the card 3 is smoothly rotated by the excitation of the electromagnet 1, and the movable contact piece 30 is elastically deformed by the second protrusion 29 b to close the movable contact 32 to the fixed contact 37.
