Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a defective contact in screwing a terminal screw by forming a side piece in such a shape that a press-fit aperture is choked in piercing a fastening piece through the press-fit aperture, and by extending a groove of a protruding piece which projects from the upper surface of a terminal part via a through-hole so as to caulk and fix a fixed contact member to a terminal part. CONSTITUTION:The installation of a fixed terminal plate 15 to a terminal part 21 is performed by press-fitting a fastening piece 15c into a press-fit aperture 31 from below while thrusting a contact plate in such a way that a protruding piece 15e is inserted into a through-hole 32. Here, slides 15h being protruded from both sides of the fastening piece 15c more upwardly with them fitted in concave parts on both sides of guide grooves 32a in a guide part 33. The insertion is completed in such condition that the fastening piece 15c and the protruding piece 15e are inserted into the press-fit aperture 31 and the through-hole 32 and a bottom plate 15a contacts with the inner bottom surface of a recess 30. At this time, a rising piece 15b fits into a groove 34 formed extending from the inner part to the upper part of the recess 30. A part for screwing a terminal screw can thus be isolated from a fixed contact 12 with the terminal part 21 and a side piece 15g so that no chips adhere to the contact during screwing.

By the way, as the fixed contact plate 15' of the above-mentioned electromagnetic relay, one having the structure shown in FIG. 6 was used. This fixed contact plate 15' includes a bottom plate 15a.
A screw hole 15d' into which a terminal screw (not shown) is screwed is formed in the bottom plate 15a'. A fixed piece 15c' to which the fixed contact 12 is fixed is formed by bending. The portion of the terminal portion 21' of the body 1a where each fixed contact plate 15' is mounted is hollow, and the fixed contact plate 15' is made hollow.
Attachment to the terminal portion 21' is carried out by inserting the fixed contact plate 15' into the terminal portion 21' in the illustrated state shown in FIG. Terminal part 2
1', as shown in FIG. 7 or FIG.
6, and when the fixed contact plate 15' is housed in the cavity from below, the sides of the bottom plate 15a' are locked to the lower surface 24 of the protrusion 26, preventing it from coming off upward, and the protrusion 26 is prevented from coming off upward. The fixed contact plate 15' was attached to the terminal portion 21' by bending the protruding piece 15e' protruding from the upper end of the rising piece 15b' into a recess 25a formed in the upper surface 25 of the terminal part 26. Note that the hatched portions in FIGS. 8 and 9 indicate the contact points of the respective members.

The fixed contact plate 15 of this embodiment is attached to the terminal portion 21 by press-fitting the fixing piece 15c into the press-fitting hole 31 from below and inserting the protruding piece 15e into the through-hole 32. Push in the plate 15. At this time, the slides 15h protruding from both sides of the fixed piece 15c move upward while being fitted into the recesses on both sides of the guide groove 32a of the guide portion 33. Then, the fixed piece 15c and the protruding piece 15e are completely fixed.
is inserted into the press-fit hole 31 and the through hole 32, and the insertion is completed with the bottom plate 15a in contact with the inner bottom surface of the recess 30. At this time, the raised piece 15b fits into the groove 34 formed upward from the inner side of the recess 30. This state is shown in FIG. In addition, when the fixed contact plate 15 is inserted into the terminal portion 21 in this manner, the side piece 15g is formed so that the side piece 15g closes the lower part of the press-fit hole 31. Therefore, the part where the terminal screw is screwed and the fixed contact 12 are connected to the terminal part 2.
1 and the side piece 15g, chips generated when screwing the terminal screws do not adhere to the contacts 11 and 12, and poor contact can be prevented. Finally, as shown in FIG. 3, when the protruding piece 15e is caulked to open the V-groove 15f, the attachment of the fixed contact plate 15 to the terminal portion 21 is completed. In addition, in order to perform caulking in this manner, a recess 15i is formed in the lower part of the upright piece 15b.

By the way, the space between the projecting piece 15e and the side piece 15g is separated by shear cutting, so that there is no wasted space as would be the case if they were formed by punching.
The width of the protruding piece 15e can be changed. Therefore, the projecting piece 15e can be formed to have a sufficient width necessary for caulking. In addition, in the case of FIG. 1 above, one fixed contact plate 15

When this type of electromagnetic relay is used for a long time, repeated contact and separation between the movable contact 11 and the fixed contact 12 generates consumable powder from the contacts 11 and 12, and this consumable powder acts as a guide for the fixed contact 12. There was a risk that the insulating material would adhere to the 33 part and deteriorate the insulation condition, and in the worst case, it could lead to burnout. Therefore, in order to prevent this, it is preferable to form a substantially T-shaped groove 35 between the guide portions 33 between the fixed contacts 12 adjacent to each other. In other words, with such a shape of the groove 35, it becomes difficult for consumable powder to enter the lateral groove portion, and the surface distance between the fixed contacts 12 can be increased, so that the insulation state can be improved.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention includes a bottom plate having screw holes for screwing terminal screws, and a projecting piece that stands up vertically from the bottom plate and is separated from its upper end by a groove. A standing piece, a side piece protruding from the side edge of the protruding piece of the standing piece toward the bottom plate, and a fixed contact fixed to the upper part of the side piece that is erected upward from the side edge opposite to the protruding piece. A recess is formed in the terminal portion to which the fixed contact plate is attached, in which the fixed contact plate is accommodated from below, and the fixed contact plate and the projecting piece are communicated with the recess and penetrated through the fixed contact plate. A press-fit hole and a through hole are formed, a side piece is formed in a shape that closes the press-fit hole when the fixing piece is inserted into the press-fit hole, and the groove of the protruding piece that protrudes from the upper surface of the terminal part through the through-hole is opened and expanded. Since the fixed contact plate is caulked and fixed to the terminal part, the part where the terminal screw is screwed can be separated from the fixed contact by the terminal part and the side piece.
This has the advantage of not causing poor contact due to chips generated when the terminal screws are screwed.

Furthermore, when the protruding piece and the side piece are separated by shear cutting, there is no wasted space created when separating the protruding piece and the side piece by punching, and the width of the protruding piece can be reduced. The projecting piece can be formed to have a width sufficient to perform caulking.

[Claim 1] A bottom plate having a screw hole for screwing a terminal screw, a rising piece having a projecting piece vertically raised from the bottom plate and separated from the upper end by a groove, and a rising piece. Fixing consisting of a side piece that protrudes from the side edge of the side piece toward the bottom plate, and a fixed piece that stands upward from the side edge opposite to the side piece and has a fixed contact fixed to the top. A contact plate is provided, and a recess into which the fixed contact plate is received from below is formed in the terminal portion to which the fixed contact plate is attached, and a press-fit hole and a through hole are formed in communication with the recess to allow the fixed piece and the protruding piece to pass through. A side piece is formed in a shape that closes the press-fit hole when the fixing piece is inserted into the press-fit hole, and the groove of the protruding piece that protrudes from the top surface of the terminal part is expanded through the through-hole to fix the contact plate to the terminal part. A terminal part structure of an electromagnetic relay characterized by being formed by caulking and fixing.
