Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor device capable of easily coping with the malfunction of treads by operating a malfunction detecting unit in the initial stage when a malfunction is generated in the treads. SOLUTION: Multiple treads 3 are connected to each other so as to provide a transport belt circulating in the predetermined route inside a main frame. A malfunction detecting unit 12 provided with a needle-like detecting part is installed in the main frame, and the detecting part is arranged close to the treads moving in the predetermined route. A control means 20 is provided so as to be operated through the operation of the malfunction detecting unit 12 when the treads 3 moving outside the predetermined route is brought in contact with the detecting part and so as to control a passenger conveyor in an emergency. With this structure, when a malfunction is generated in the fitting condition of the treads 3, the malfunction detecting unit 12 is operated in the initial time so as to control for prevention, and prevents the generation of accident due to a collision of a fallen member of the tread 3 with equipment inside the main frame. A measure to cope with the generation of malfunction of the treads 3 is thereby facilitated.

As a result, the mounting bolts that fasten the tread plate to the transport belt are loosened, and the detection unit of the abnormality detector contacts the tread plate in an initial state of occurrence of an abnormality in which the tread plate starts to deviate from a predetermined path. Displace. The displacement of the detection section activates the abnormality detector, and the operation activates the control means to perform the abnormal control of the passenger conveyor. As described above, the abnormality detector operates in the initial state of the occurrence of the abnormality in the mounting state of the tread plate, and the abnormal time control is performed proactively. For this reason, it is possible to prevent an accident that occurs when the holding member from which the tread plate has fallen or the excessively displaced tread plate collides with other devices and members provided in the main frame. Therefore, it is possible to easily take a countermeasure when an abnormality occurs in the tread plate body, to reduce a recovery cost in the event of an abnormality, and to shorten a recovery operation time.
