2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, furniture and household goods, floors of various buildings,
It has been proposed to incorporate various deodorants, antibacterial agents, antifungal agents and the like into paints applied to walls, ceilings, outer walls and the like. It has also been proposed to combine these deodorants, antibacterial agents, antifungal agents and the like in the paints.
None of the paints has all the deodorant, antibacterial and antifungal effects. In addition, when a deodorant, an antibacterial agent, a fungicide, and the like are blended in a conventional paint, it is difficult to uniformly mix these blending agents in the paint, and these blends are stored during the storage of the paint. The compounding agent was separated, and a paint having stable properties could not be obtained. Further, there are drawbacks such as poor workability when applying these paints and the inability to obtain a uniform coating film. And there is no conventional deodorant paint which has an effective deodorant effect on all of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, trimethylamine, methyl mercaptan and formaldehyde, which are main causes of malodor. Furthermore, conventional antibacterial paints have little effect on mold, and some of the proposed antifungal paints do not exhibit a sufficient antifungal effect.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The synthetic resin paint having deodorant, antibacterial, and antifungal functions of the present invention has a fine glass powder containing (A) a ceramic fine powder having an ion generating ability and (B) a heavy metal ion as active ingredients. Contains powder. (A) As the ceramic fine powder having an ion generating ability, a ceramic fine powder containing a radioactive mineral is used. For example, a radioactive rare earth ore containing thorium, uranium, or the like, zircon, zirconia,
Ceramics such as alumina, silica, etc. are mixed, pulverized, fired and, after addition of an appropriate auxiliary, mixed and then finely pulverized and classified, usually having a particle size of about 0.1 to 10 μm, preferably about 0.5 to 3 μm. Fine powder is mentioned, and a specific example is "N, N-powder" sold by Nishizaki Corporation. When the particle size of the ceramic fine powder is larger than the above range, it becomes difficult to uniformly mix the ceramic fine powder into the coating, and it is difficult to obtain a coating having stable properties and good applicability. In addition, it is difficult to economically produce a ceramic powder having a particle size smaller than 0.1 μm, and if such a ceramic powder is used, the cost is increased.

(B) As the glass fine powder containing heavy metal ions, ions of heavy metals such as silver and copper are contained in the glass composition in an amount of about 0.01 to 10% by weight, preferably 0.05 to 10% by weight.
Glass fine powder containing about 5% by weight is used. Preferred glass fine powders include water-soluble borosilicate glass fine powders containing about 0.05 to 5% by weight of silver or copper ions in a glass composition, and specific examples include, for example, Nishizaki Co., Ltd. There is "Amorculin" sold. As the glass fine powder (B), it is preferable to use a glass fine powder having the same particle diameter as the above-mentioned ceramic fine powder (A) having an ion generating ability. When the particle size of the glass fine powder is larger than the above range, it becomes difficult to uniformly mix the glass fine powder into the coating, and it is difficult to obtain a coating having stable properties and good applicability. Further, it is difficult to economically produce glass powder having a particle size smaller than 0.1 μm, and if such a glass powder is used, the cost is increased.

The synthetic resin paint of the present invention is prepared by a conventional method using a solvent type paint in which paint components such as a binder resin are dissolved in a solvent, and a NAD (non-aqueous dispersio) in which the paint components are dispersed in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent.
n) Paints, water-based paints in which paint components are dissolved or dispersed in an aqueous solvent, or powder paints can be used. Preferred paint forms include water-based paints. In particular, water-based paints using an acrylic resin as a binder resin contain (A) ceramic fine powder having ion-generating ability and (B) heavy metal ions added to the paint. Ingredients such as fine glass powder and (C) plant extract can be uniformly mixed in the paint, and the components are not separated during storage, so that the properties are stable and the coatability is good and uniform. This is preferable because a film can be obtained.

The initial negative ions generated in this way and the positive ions generated at the same time recombine with ions of the opposite sign to lose charge or adhere to the aerosol (mainly water aggregate) existing around. And larger charged particles. Although the detailed mechanism is being elucidated, in the present invention, these charged particles act synergistically with (B) glass fine powder containing heavy metal ions and (C) plant extract to deodorize, antibacterial, and mold-proof. It is considered that the action and the like are remarkably improved. Furthermore, when the synthetic resin paint of the present invention is applied to the surface of furniture, household goods, floors, walls, ceilings, outer walls and the like of various buildings, negative ions absorbed by the human body after being released from the coating film are removed. By the action, the living tissue is activated, blood circulation and metabolism are improved, and a sedative effect such as relieving stress and a health promotion effect such as elimination of stiff shoulders and promotion of recovery from fatigue are exhibited.

EXAMPLES Next, the present invention will be further described with reference to examples, but the following specific examples do not limit the present invention.
In the following examples, the deodorizing action, antibacterial action, and antifungal action of the synthetic resin paint were measured as follows. (Deodorizing action) A closed box having an inner volume of 1 m 3 was prepared from a wooden veneer plate, and a paint was applied to the entire inner surface to form a 60 μm-thick coating film. Various gases (bad odor causing substances) were injected into the closed box, the gas concentration after 3 hours was measured using a detector tube, and the deodorization rate (%) was calculated and evaluated by the following equation (1).

Cut the resulting coating film, 5cm × to prepare 5cm specimens, placed on a mineral salt agar, 1/20 bacteria solution 0.2ml of in nutrient broth was adjusted viable count to 105 of the Was added dropwise, and the cells were cultured at 37 ° C. for 18 hours. Then, the bacteria were washed out, a 10-fold dilution series was prepared, and the number of viable bacteria was counted. The strain used was Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538P (Staphylococcus aureus). (Anti-fungal action) A paint was applied to the wall surface of the washroom made of wooden plywood (the lower part of the washstand) to form a 60 µm-thick coat. After 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days, the state of the surface of the coating film was visually observed, and the state of mold generation was evaluated.

According to Tables 1 to 3, the synthetic resin paint of the present invention has a deodorizing action, an antibacterial action and a fungicide action at the same time, and in particular, (C) a synthetic resin paint containing a plant extract. Has excellent deodorizing and antibacterial effects, and also has an effective deodorizing effect on all of the main causes of malodor, such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, trimethylamine, methyl mercaptan and formaldehyde. The synthetic resin paint of the present invention has stable properties by using a component having an extremely small particle size, and also uses a spray gun, a brush, a roller, a spatula, and the like,
Furniture and household goods made of materials such as wood, metal, plastic, glass, and porcelain, and floors and walls of various buildings made of materials such as wood, metal, concrete, and glass, etc.
Improves workability when applying to surfaces such as ceilings and outer walls,
A uniform coating film can be obtained. In the above embodiment, an example in which the present invention is applied to an acrylic resin coating has been described. However, it is needless to say that the present invention can be applied to a coating using another binder resin.
