械による高速自動包装が初めて実現できる。これに対し
て、特開平5-221459と特開平7-277362と特開平8-09133
2は、タイトな包装ができず、高速包装ができず、衛生
的に好ましくなく、実用化されていない。特開平6-3450
47,特開平7-291348は、フィルムの余剰部が大き過ぎ、
高速包装ができず、これも実用化されていない。特開平
10-236524は、タイトな包装ができる効果があるとして
いるが実現できる自動包装機械について明示も示唆もし
ていない。つまり、作図に誤りが見られるように単なる
ペーパープランであって具体的にはタイトな包装は実現
できる見通しがないものであった。具体的に言えば、特
開平10-236524は、被包装物Wの上面となる両側へ傾斜
する二つの矩形面の巾中央でフィルムの端縁同士のシー
ル巾のみの重なりを確保してヒートシールする構成であ
るので、本願発明と折り込みを同じくして包装すること
ができるように見られるが、フィルムの余剰のオーバー
ラップが全く存在しないので、本願発明のように、包装
フィルムシートをチャンネル形に曲折してサンドイッチ
等の三角柱状の被包装物Wの前面(最大矩形面)と両側
の三角形面W2,W3を密着して覆い次いで被包装物Wの
上面となる両側へ傾斜する二つの矩形面を包装フィルム
シートの一方のフィルム周辺部S11で被覆する折り込み
を行った後に、横送りできないから、高速自動包装が実
現できない。横送りできない理由は、被包装物Wの上面
となる両側へ傾斜する二つの矩形面を先に覆う包装フィ
ルムシートの一方のフィルム周辺部S11を前記二つの矩
形面を後から覆う包装フィルムシートの他方のフィルム
周辺部S12で押さえられない(重なりがシール代部分の
みである)ので、横送りすると、二つの矩形面を先に覆
う包装フィルムシートの一方のフィルム周辺部S11が開
