[Prior Art] Box-shaped containers, bag-shaped containers, and the like made of sheet materials based on paper, plastic, etc. have been widely used for packaging fluid foods such as milk and youth. As a liquid packaging device using these containers,
A belt-shaped sheet material having heat-adhesive resin coating on both sides is unrolled from the raw roll, the belt-shaped sheet material is folded in half in the longitudinal direction, and the belt-shaped sheet material is sealed in the transverse direction at an appropriate interval in the longitudinal direction. By cutting and separating the sheet material in the transverse direction, a bag-like container with one end open is formed, and the bag-like container is formed into a box shape, and the contents are then injected into the container while being transported intermittently. Devices for filling and sealing objects are known (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open Nos. 60-204424, 1983-

By the way, in the conventional device, the curling device and the sealing device are separated to some extent due to the external dimensions of the curling device for folding the curling device to the sealing opening and the sealing device to seal the opening of the container, as well as constraints on repair work. There are multiple container stopping positions between the folding device and the sealing device. For this reason, it takes time for the crookedly folded container to reach the sealing device, and during that time, the crooked container opens due to its own restoring force, and the sealing device does not seal properly. There was a problem that defects could occur.

The opening prevention crimp folding device configured as described above has a bifurcated structure in which the portions located on both sides of the abutted upper edges of the triangular flaps protruding on both sides of the container opening which has been crookedly folded by the upstream crimp folding device. By pressing the presser rod against the guide plate, the opening of the container can be folded again, and the opening, which has been folded and closed, can be prevented from opening wide before the container is sent to the sealing device. Moreover, the structure of this curly fold to prevent opening is simple, as it simply requires a presser bar that moves up and down.
It can be installed in a small space and can be installed between the curling device and the sealing device without any problems.

A box-shaped container 18 having the shape shown in FIG. 4B is held in a U-shaped carrier 25 in an upright state with its top opening facing upward, and after being filled with contents on the way, it is moved directly below the curling device 30. I'll come. At this time, the lifting block 31 is in the raised position, and the holding plate 35 and the claw 42 are in a position where they do not come into contact with the container 18.
When the container 18 reaches a predetermined position and stops in this state, the lifting block 31 is lowered to the position shown in FIGS. 2A and 3A, and the pair of claws 42 are inserted into the opening of the container 18. Next, the lifting rod 45 rises to push up the operating lever 43 and open the pair of claws 42 outward. As a result, the pair of claws 42 push open both ends of the container opening outward, as shown in FIG. 3B.
Next, the lifting rod 45 descends and the operating lever 43
is released and the pair of claws 42 are restored to their original positions by the force of the spring, and the drive rod 37 descends to close the pair of presser plates 35 via the link 38 and the swing lever 34. As a result, as shown in FIG. 2B, the presser plate 35 pinches the upper edge of the container opening and closes it, creating a crease in the container opening. In addition,
At this time, since the pair of claws 42 have returned to their original positions indicated by the two-dot chain lines in FIG. 3B, only the upper edge of the container is held between the press plates 35 without being pinched by the press plates 35. Next, with the container opening sandwiched between the presser plates 35, the lifting block 31 is further lowered,
The crease at the opening of the container is folded more reliably, and the triangular flaps 18C (see FIG. 4C) on both sides are pressed against the guide plate 50 to create a crease in that part as well. With this operation, the opening of the container 18 is opened at the fourth C.
A fold is added as shown in the figure. That is, the opening of the container is widened on both sides to form a triangular flap 18C, and the folds 18D, 1 forming the corners of the upper end of the container are widened to form a triangular flap 18C.
8E, the fold line 18F that defines the seal portion, the fold line 18G that forms the outer periphery of the triangular flap 18C, etc., are folded to form a crease.

In the above description, the pair of claws 42 that pushed the container opening outward to both sides were moved back, and then the container opening was sandwiched between the pair of presser plates 35, but instead of this, the pair of claws 42 were opened. It is also possible to operate the holding plate 35 to clamp the opening of the container in this state. In this case, when the upper edge of the container is sandwiched between the presser plates 35, the claws 42 may be sandwiched together, or the portions of the presser plate 35 corresponding to the claws 42 may be cut out and the claws 42 may be sandwiched together. It is also possible to have no configuration.

As shown in FIG. 2B, the container 18 is folded by the folding device 30 of the station S4.
is sent to a downstream sealing station (not shown) by the carrier 25, but on the way, the restoring force of the container material tends to cause the closed opening to crease and open wide. The opening prevention crimp folding device 51 is for preventing this, and the presser bar 53 is lowered by the air cylinder 54, and the first

Next, the operation of the entire liquid packaging apparatus including the container opening and folding device 30 having the above structure will be explained. Fifth
In the figure, a strip-shaped sheet material 1 is unwound from a raw fabric roll 2 and is intermittently fed by a fixed length feed drive roller 9 by a fixed length. On the way, various processes are applied to the belt-shaped sheet material 1 while it is stopped. That is,
First, a straw hole is made in the strip-shaped sheet material 1 from the inner surface of the strip-shaped sheet material 1 by the straw punching device 4, and a pull-tab tape is pasted on the outer surface of the straw hole by the pull-tab tape pasting device 5. Thereafter, a date is printed on the band-shaped sheet material 1 to which the pull-tab tape has been pasted by a date printing device 7, and ruled lines are formed by a ruled line pressing device 8. These ruled lines form folds when forming a box-like container.

Band-shaped sheet material 1 that has passed the first drive roller 9
is intermittently fed by a fixed length by the second drive roller 16. At this time, the fixed-dimension feeding by the first drive roller 9 and the fixed-dimension feeding by the second driving roller 16 are theoretically performed at the same timing, but in reality they may be slightly deviated due to elongation of the belt-shaped sheet material, etc. Since the dancer roller 10 is interposed between the two, the vertical movement of the dancer roller 10 absorbs the error caused by the intermittent feeding caused by both drive rollers. Band-shaped sheet material 1 that has passed the dancer roller 10
The inner surface of the sheet is first sterilized by a germicidal lamp 11, then folded in half by a sheet folding device 12, laterally sealed at predetermined intervals by a sealing device 13, turned horizontally by a direction changing roller 15, and cut. The device 17 cuts the seal portion 14 in the center and separates it. As a result, as shown in FIG. 4A, a bag-like container 18 is formed, which has seal portions 18A at both ends, a straw hole 60, and a pull-tab tape 61 pasted thereon.

As explained above, the opening prevention curl-folding device of the present invention includes a presser bar that can be raised and lowered, and a guide that is disposed between the curl-folding device that performs a predetermined curl-folding on the opening of a container and the sealing device downstream thereof. By pressing the triangular flaps protruding on both sides of the container opening, which has been vertically folded by the upstream vertical folding device, against the guide plate with the presser bar, the container opening can be vertically folded again. This prevents the opening, which is folded and closed before the container is sent to the sealing device, from opening wide.
This has the effect of making it possible to perform good sealing.
