(1) In order to attach and detach the optical connector C, it is necessary to operate the operation unit K, and further, it is necessary to switch the operation of the operation unit K between when the optical connector C is inserted and when it is removed, which is troublesome. (2) The work of attaching and detaching the optical connector C is performed in two stages, namely, operation of the operation unit K and insertion or removal of the connector C, which complicates the work. (3) As shown in FIG. 10, since the distal end surface R of the optical connector C before mounting is exposed to the outside, the distal end surface R is in contact with a cord or the like and is damaged, or dust is attached thereto, and inserted. The loss may increase. (4) Since the holding member H is thick (about 0.7 mm), if the plurality of adapters D are arranged at a narrow pitch, the holding member H cannot be inserted between the adjacent adapters D. In some cases, the attachment / detachment of the optical connector C becomes impossible.

In the direction of the arrow ab in the figure, from a position at which the distal end surface R of the MU connector C can be surrounded (a position shown in FIG. 2) to a position at which the distal end surface R is exposed to the outside (a position shown in FIG. 1). It is possible to slide. The tip portion of each anti-vibration member 4 is enlarged in the direction facing each other as compared with the other portions, and as shown in FIG.
When the distal end face R of the U connector C is slid in the direction of the arrow b in the drawing to a position where the MU connector C can be surrounded, substantially the entire circumference of the MU connector C can be surrounded as shown in FIG. is there. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, an elongated hole 12 is opened on the back surface of each anti-vibration member 4, and a rivet 13 is attached to the base material 2 inside the elongate hole 12, so that the anti-vibration member 4 is provided. 4 is slid to a predetermined position in the direction of the arrow a or the direction of the arrow b in the figure, the rivet 13 comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the front end portion or the inner peripheral surface of the rear end portion of the elongated hole 12 so as not to slide further in the same direction. It is regulated. Further, a guide projection 14 that can be engaged with the guide groove L (FIG. 6B) of the adapter D is integrally provided at the tip of each shake prevention member 4. The function of the guide projection 14 is the same as that of the conventional connector attaching / detaching tool.

In order to attach (insert) the MU connector C shown in FIG. (1) As shown in FIG. 1, in a state where the rear part of the MU connector C is arranged between the front ends of the opposing base materials 2 (between the locking hooks 3),
By closing the front end side of the base material 2, the locking hook 3 is fitted and locked in the locking hole N of the connector C, and the connector C is sandwiched and held between the locking hooks 3. (2) As shown in FIG.
In the direction to surround the distal end surface R of the MU connector C. This prevents the distal end surface R of the connector C from being scratched and dust from being attached, and also ensures that the longitudinal direction of the base material 2 matches the longitudinal direction of the MU connector C. The direction of C is regulated. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 3A, the anti-vibration member 4 comes into contact with the upper and lower surfaces of the optical connector C, and the arrow e of the connector C
Prevents swinging in the direction. (3) The guide projection 14 projecting from the tip of the shake preventing member 4 is engaged with the guide groove L corresponding to the predetermined insertion hole E of the adapter D shown in FIG. (4) The connector attaching / detaching tool (base material 2) is pressed toward the adapter D side. In this case, since the end face of the anti-vibration member 4 abuts against the peripheral edge of the insertion hole E of the adapter D and cannot be moved in the pressing direction, the base material 2 relatively moves in the same direction. The MU connector C held between the hooks 3 is pushed forward from the shake prevention member 4 and inserted into the insertion hole E.
At this time, since the longitudinal direction of the base material 2 and the longitudinal direction of the MU connector C coincide with each other, the engagement of the guide projection 14 and the guide groove L causes the longitudinal direction of the base material 2 and the axis of the insertion hole E to be aligned. By matching, the MU connector C is inserted straight into the insertion hole E. (5) When the MU connector C is inserted into the insertion hole E to a predetermined position, the base material 2 is opened to release the holding of the connector C, and then the connector attaching / detaching tool is pulled back.

Thereby, while maintaining the same effect as in the case where the anti-vibration member 4 is provided, the dimension (width W) near the front end of the base material 2 is reduced by the amount of the omission of the anti-vibration member 4,
Even if Adapter D is arranged at a narrow pitch,
The optical connector C can be detached.

The basic configuration of this tool is the same as that shown in FIGS. 1 to 3A. The difference is that the connector attaching / detaching tool shown in FIGS. 1 to 3A has two bases 2 joined by a joining member 10, but the tool shown in FIG. A pair of base materials 2 are formed by bending an elongated plate material at its center.
Is formed. Similar to the anti-vibration member 4, the connector C and the optical connector C are arranged near the front end of each of the substrates 2 shown in FIG. 5 so that the longitudinal direction of the optical connector C coincides with the longitudinal direction of the optical connector C.
Is provided. FIG.
Since the structure near the tip of the base member 2 is extremely simple, the dimensions of the vicinity of the tip of the base material 2 are much smaller than those of the connector removal tool shown in FIG. The optical connector C can also be attached and detached.

着脱可能である。The connector attaching / detaching tool of the present application has the following effects. (1) When the base material is closed, it is locked in the locking hole of the optical connector, and when the base material is opened, the locking hook is released so that the locking is released.
Unlike the conventional case, there is no need to operate the hook member specially, and it is not necessary to switch the operation between the insertion and removal of the optical connector. (2) Since an anti-vibration member is provided outside the optical connector to prevent the optical connector from oscillating, the optical connector can be inserted straight into the insertion hole of the adapter or pulled out straight from the insertion hole. . (3) The anti-vibration member can be slid to a position protruding from the front end surface of the optical connector, so that the optical connector can be fixed stably. Further, since the connector can be slid backward to a position where the distal end surface of the connector is exposed, the vibration preventing member does not interfere with the vicinity of the adapter. In addition, if the anti-vibration member of such a slide structure is configured to cover substantially the entire circumference of the optical connector, the distal end surface of the optical connector attached to the adapter is exposed to the outside once before and after the attachment. There is no.
Accordingly, there is no possibility that the cord or the like contacts the distal end surface of the optical connector during the mounting operation, and the distal end surface is damaged or dust adheres to the optical connector, thereby increasing insertion loss. (4) The locking hooks that oppose each other are biased by the spring in the direction in which the locking hooks approach each other, and the locking hooks are locked in the locking holes of the optical connector. Is opened when it is opened against the urging of the spring, there is no danger that the locking hook will be released accidentally during operation and the optical connector will fall. Further, since the optical connector is always held at a constant pressing force, there is no possibility that an unnecessary force acts on the optical connector to damage the optical connector. (5) Since the pair of base materials are formed by bending an elongated plate material, the structure is extremely simple, the production is easy, and the cost is low. (6) The optical connector can be attached to and detached from adapters arranged at a narrow pitch.
