Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.医療的に関心のある生体内の部位内の直接的な圧力測定を行うために生体内 に挿入されるカテーテルに結合された流体ライン中の圧力を再使用可能な変換 器組立体を形成するよう再使用可能なセンサと組み合わせて使用される使い捨 てドームであって、形状が相補する再使用可能センサの表面に解除自在に係合 するよう構成されていて、一回だけの使用後に破棄できる締結手段を含み、前 記ドームは、これと関連した形状になって真っ直ぐな貫通状態の流体充填経路 を形成する電気的且つ生物学的に絶縁された結合媒体を有し、前記媒体は、油 圧信号をドーム内の流体充填室から再使用可能なセンサ部分に伝えることを特 徴とする使い捨てドーム。 2.前記結合媒体は、使い捨てドームの内部キャビティ内に設けられた1又は2 以上のエラストマーから成り、該エラストマーは、流体の流れのための滑らか な内部経路を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 3.エラストマーは少なくとも一部がシリコーンゲルであることを特徴とする請 求項2記載の装置。 4.エラストマーは、再使用可能部分への組付けに先立つて凸状の圧力伝達面を 形成するよう使い捨てドーム体の定位置に注型され、硬化され又は形成されて いることを特徴とする請求項2記載の装置。 5.前記絶縁媒体は、U字形であり、U字の脚は流体経路から遠ざかる方向に且 つ変換器の再使用可能部分の方向に向いていることを特徴とする請求項1記載 の装置。 6.前記締結手段は、ドームの側部を押すことにより外せるスナップ嵌め保持機 構から成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 7.前記組立体は、ハウジングと、ハウジングに設けられた入口ポート及び出口 ポート並びにこれらの間に延びる流体流路と、前記流路に設けられていて、可 撓性ダイヤフラムにより第1室と第2の室に分割されたキャビティとを有し、 前記流路は、前記カテーテル及び前記ハウジング内の前記第1の室と連通し、 第1の室は、前記絶縁媒体を収容し、前記第2の室は、前記ダイヤフラムから 間隔を置いて位置した補償形圧力センサを収容し、前記圧力センサの一方の側 は、前記第2の室の表面に設けられたガス抜き穴と連通状態した状態で密封的 に設けられ、前記ガス抜き穴は、圧力センサの第1の側に基準となる周囲空気 圧力を及ぼし、前記組立体は更に、前記第2の室内に設けられていて、油圧信 号を前記ダイヤフラムから前記圧力センサの第2の側に伝える圧力伝達媒体と 、圧力センサに接続されると共に前記ハウジングから延びる電気導体とを有す ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 8.ハウジングは、第1及び第2の着脱自在に固定できる構成要素から成り、第 1の構成要素は、第1の室並びに前記入口ポート及び出口ポートを有していて 、一回の使用後に取り外して処分できるようになっていることを特徴とする請 求項7記載の装置。 9.前記出口ポートは、零点調整すると共に、或いはカテーテル流体体積の操作 をする補助ポートを備えた一体ストップコックと流体連通していることを特徴 とする請求項1記載の装置。 10.可撓性ダイヤフラムは、ポリイソプレン、マイラ、ポリアミド、ステンレス 鋼合金、高密度ポリエチレン、シリコーンゴム、ニトリル又はブチルゴムから 成る群から選択された膜であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 11.絶縁媒体及び圧力伝達媒体は、これらの接触面のところに異種材料を有し、 絶縁媒体と圧力伝達媒体は、密な封止接触関係に配置されても、互いにくっつ かないようになっていることを特徴とする請求項7記載の装置。 12.ダイヤフラムは、第2の室内の圧力伝達媒体の表面から成ることを特徴とす る請求項7記載の装置。 13.ダイヤフラムは、第1のタイプのシリコーンエラストマーを硬化させ、次に 第1のエラストマーを第1のエラストマーと接触状態で硬化させることにより 形成されることを特徴とする請求項12記載の装置。 14.生理的圧力をモニタする方法であって、カテーテルが体内の流体運搬血管と 流体連通した患者を準備し、ハウジング、ハウジングを通る真っ直ぐな流路、 及び流路とハウジングの外部にさらされた圧力信号伝達面との間でハウジング 内に設けられた油圧信号伝達媒体を有し、少なくとも第1のスナップ嵌め係合 面を有する一回使用の使い捨てドームを準備し、圧力信号受取り面及び少なく とも第2のスナップ嵌め係合面を有する圧力変換器を準備し、第1のスナップ 嵌め係合面を第2のスナップ嵌め係合面と相互係止接触状態に着脱自在に配置 し、それにより圧力信号伝達面を圧力信号受取り面と圧力信号伝達接触状態に 保持し、流路をカテーテルを介して患者と流体連通関係に配置し、変換器によ り検出された生理的圧力をモニタすることを特徴とする方法。 15.第1のスナップ嵌め係合面を第2のスナップ嵌め係合面から離脱させ、一回 使用の使い捨てドームを圧力変換器から取り外すことを特徴とする請求項14 記載の方法。 16.再使用可能な変換器用の使い捨てドームを製造する方法であって、使い捨て ドームは、少なくとも予備成形されたダイヤフラムから成る絶縁媒体を構成す ることにより作られた本質的に真っ直ぐな貫通流路を有し、ダイヤフラムは、 ダイヤフラムの中央部分の厚さよりも垂直方向寸法において厚い外側取付け及 び保持リング構造を有し、保持リング構造を再使用可能な変換器の方向に配置 し、使い捨てドームと接触状態にある対向面は、平らであり、或いは滑らかな 内部流路を形成するような形状になっていることを特徴とする方法。
