Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.投薬注入デバイスであって、 ハンドルと、 前記ハンドルに装着された回転自在な中空ドリルビットであり、それを通る 内腔を有するドリルビットと、 前記ハンドルに連結され、前記ドリルビットを回転させる手段と、 前記ハンドルに連結され、投薬流体を前記ドリルビットの前記内腔へ供給す る流体投与手段とを備えるデバイス。 2.前記中空ドリルビットが、尖端を有する皮下注射針を含む請求項1記載のデ バイス。 3.前記ドリルビットを回転させる手段が、前記ドリルビットに連結された第一 のモータを含む請求項1記載のデバイス。 4.前記流体投与手段が、前記ハンドル内に装着されると共に、流体貯蔵器と、 この流体貯蔵器と前記ドリルビットの内腔との間に延伸する配管と、前記流体 貯蔵器に摺動自在に装着されて連結されたプランジャと、前記ドリルビットへ 流体を供給するように前記プランジャを移動させる手段とを含む請求項1記載 のデバイス。 5.前記プランジャを移動させる手段が、第二のモータと、前記プランジャに連 結されて第二のモータにより駆動される駆動機構とを含む請求項4記載のデバ イス。 6.前記プランジャを移動させる手段が、二つのリミットスイッチを含み、その 各々は前記プランジャの移動限界に配置されて、第二のモータに電気的に接続 され、このリミットスイッチは、前記プランジャにより接触したときに、前記 プランジャの移動限界を規定するように作動自在である請求項5記載のデバイ ス。 7.ドリルに対して操作自在に接続されたフットコントロールペダルを更に備え 、このフットコントロールペダルは、第一のモータに電気的に接続された第一 のスイッチと、第二のモータに電気的に接続された第二のスイッチとを含む請 求項5記載のデバイス。 8.前記ドリルビット及び配管が、取り外し自在な構造体へ取り付けられ、この 取り外し自在な構造体は、この取り外し自在な構造体を前記ハウジングに対し て解除自在に取り付けるクリップを含む請求項4記載のデバイス。 9.前記流体貯蔵器が、投薬流体を包含する取り外し自在なカートリッジである 請求項4記載のデバイス。 10.歯科用ドリルとの使用に適する使い捨て投薬投与デバイスであって、前記歯 科用ドリルが、ドリルモータと、前記ドリルビットを回転させるカップリング とを有し、更に投薬流体を包含する流体投与器を有し、この使い捨て投薬投与 デバイスは、 取り外し自在なハウジングであり、このハウジングを前記歯科用ドリルに取 り外し自在に取り付ける取り付け手段を含むハウジングと、 前記ハウジングに装着された回転中空ドリルビットと、 前記ハウジングを通じて前記流体投与器と中空ビットとの間に延伸する配管 とを備えるデバイス。 11.前記ハウジングを取り外し自在に取り付ける取り付け手段が、歯科用ドリル に係合するクリップを含む請求項10記載のデバイス。 12.前記中空ドリルビットが、尖端を有する皮下注射針である請求項10記載の デバイス。 13.前記配管が、その基端に鋭い尖端を含み、この尖端は、前記デバイスが前記 歯科用ドリルに取り付けられたときに、前記流体投与器に係合する請求項10 記載のデバイス。 14.前記配管が、その末端に尖っていない端部を含み、この端部は中空ドリルビ ットの内腔に嵌合する請求項10記載のデバイス。 15.組織へ投薬を投与する方法であって、 前記組織に中空ドリルビットにより開口を開ける段階と、 前記中空ドリルビットを通じて前記へ投薬注入する段階とを含む方法。 16.前記組織が、硬骨、軟骨、および鍵を含むグループから選択されている請求 項15記載の方法。 17.前記投薬が、口腔麻酔薬である請求項15記載の方法。 18.前記投薬を注入する段階が、前記開口を聞ける段階の後に実行される請求項 15記載の方法。 19.前記投薬を注入する段階が、前記開口を開ける段階の前にも実行される請求 項18記載の方法。 20.前記投薬を注入する段階が、前記開口を開ける段階中にも実行される請求項 18記載の方法。 21.投薬を投与する方法であって、 投薬の貯蔵器を有する穴開け装置であって、中空ドリルビットと、このドリ ルビットを回転させる手段と、投薬を前記ドリルビットへ供給する手段とを含 む穴開け装置を設ける段階と、 組織に中空ドリルビットにより開口を開ける段階と、 前記中空ドリルビットを通じて前記開口へ投薬を注入する段階とを含む方法 。 22.前記開口を開ける段階中に前記中空ドリルビットを通じて前記組織へ投薬を 供給する段階を更に含む請求項21記載の方法。
