Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. それぞれが燃焼室(5)を有する一つ以上のシリンダ(1、2、3)、それ ぞれのシリンダ室に開口している燃料インジェクタ(7)、それぞれのインジェク タに燃料を供給する燃料ポンプ装置(8)、それぞれの燃焼室から出て排気ガス中 のNOXの触媒還元のための触媒コンバータ装置(24)に開口している排気ガ スライン(23)、および燃料を触媒コンバータ装置に供給する装置、から成る4 ストローク内燃機関であって、燃料ポンプ装置が、それぞれのインジェクタ(7) のための個別の燃料ポンプ手段(8)とエンジンのクランクシャフト(10)に よって駆動されるカムシャフト(11)とから成っていて、それぞれの燃料ポン プ手段のためのカム要素(12、13)を有し、該カム要素が第一のカムリッジ (20)と少なくとも第二のカムリッジ(21、22)とを有し、前記第一のカ ムリッジが、作動サイクルあたり一回、対応する燃料ポンプ手段において第一の ポンプストロークを実行するように構成されており、前記第二のカムリッジが、 作動サイクルあたり一回、前記第一のポンプストローク後、所定のクランクシャ フト角度数のところで、対応する燃料ポンプ手段において第二のポンプストロー クを実行するように構成されており、また電子制御ユニット(15)が、該ユニ ットに送り込まれる各種の制御パラメータに基づいて、それぞれのインジェクタ と協同するバイパス弁(9)を制御してそれぞれのポンプストローク中の噴射量 と時刻を調節するように構成されている、ことを特徴とする4ストローク内燃機 関。 2. それぞれのカム要素(12、13)上の第二のカムリッジ(21、22) が、第二のポンプストロークを行わせるように作られたカム曲線(B、C)を有 し、この第二のポンプストロークがインジェクタ(7)からの最大必要量の燃料 の噴射を可能にし、また制御ユニット(15)が、燃料が一方および他方のイン ジェクタから交互に噴射されるようにそれぞれのバイパス弁を制御するように構 成されていることを特徴とする、少なくとも二つのシリンダを有する請求項1記 載の内燃機関。 3. それぞれのカム要素(12、13)上の第二のカムリッジ(21、22) が、第二のポンプストロークを行わせるように作られたカム曲線(B、C)を有 し、この第二のポンプストロークが最大必要量よりも少ない量の燃料の噴射を可 能にし、また制御ユニット(15)が、必要な燃料量に応じて、1作動サイクル 中にひとつよりも多くのインジェクタ(7)からの噴射のためにバイパス弁を制 御するように構成されていることを特徴とする、少なくとも二つのシリンダを有 する請求項1記載の内燃機関。 4. カム要素(12)がカム曲線(B)を有する第二のカムリッジ(21)を 有していて、このカム曲線が、第一のポンプストローク後、所定のクランクシャ フト角度数において第二のポンプストロークを実現し、また第二のカム要素(1 3)がカム曲線(C)を有する第二のカムリッジ(22)を有していて、このカ ム曲線が、第一のポンプストローク後、別の所定のクランクシャフト角度数にお いて第二のポンプストロークを実現し、また制御ユニット(15)が、エンジン の負荷に応じて、第二のポンプストロークによって生じる噴射が低負荷の場合に は大負荷の場合よりも早い時点で起るように、インジェクタのバイパス弁(9) を制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2または3記載の内燃 機関。 5. すべてのカム要素における前記第二のカムリッジが異なるカム曲線を有す るように作られていることを特徴とする、少なくとも四つのシリンダを有する請 求項4記載の内燃機関。 6. カム要素が少なくとも二つのグループに分けられ、前記第二のカムリッジ のカム曲線がそれぞれのグループ内では同じであるが、グループ間では異なって いることを特徴とする請求項4記載の内燃機関。 7. 協同するポンプ手段(8)を有する各インジェクタ(7)が、統合ユニッ ト、すなわちエンジンのシリンダ上部に配置されたいわゆるユニットインジェク タ(6)、を形成することを特徴とする請求項1から6の中のいずれか1つに記載 の内燃機関。 8. 各インジェクタが、該インジェクタから独立した燃料ポンプ手段と連絡し ていることを特徴とする請求項1から6の中のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関。
