Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.呼気中の特定物質の濃度と水蒸気の濃度を測定することと、これらの濃度 間の既知の関係を利用することとによって、血液中の前記物質の濃度を人の呼気 で測定するための方法において、 予め設定された組成を有する空気を含む定義された空間に呼気を自由に吐き出 し、前記濃度をこの空気を含む空間で測定することを含むことを特徴とする方法 。 2.前記濃度の測定が、光線、好ましくは前記空気を含む空間を通り検出器に 向かって送られる赤外光線による定量的検出によって実施されることを特徴とす る請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記空間内の空気が、空気の水蒸気及び前記特定物質が予め定められた濃 度となっている所定の空間からの周辺空気を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項 1又は2に記載の方法。 4.前記空間の空気が乾燥していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 5.前記空気を含む空間が連続又は間欠の空気流を含んでいることを特徴とす る請求項1から4の何れか1項に記載の方法。 6.前記空気流が定められた流路を通過することを特徴とする請求項5に記載 の方法。 7.前記呼気が空気噴流として前記流路に向かって、その内部へ供給されるこ とを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 8.前記呼気が前記空気流と共に前記流路へ供給されることを特徴とする請求 項7に記載の方法。 9.前記流路がその中での凝縮防止のために加熱されていることを特徴とする 請求項6から8の何れか1項に記載の方法。 10.呼気中の二酸化炭素濃度が測定され、前記物質の濃度と水 蒸気の濃度の測定が、二酸化炭素濃度の予め定められた測定された値から開始さ れることを特徴とする請求項1から9の何れか1項に記載の方法。 11.呼気中の特定物質の濃度と水蒸気の濃度を測定し、これらの濃度間の既 知の関係を利用することとにより、請求項1から10の何れかに記載の方法によ って、血液中の前記物質の濃度を人の呼気で測定するための装置において、 空間が周囲空気に連通している2つの相互に向かい合った開口部を有し、空間 内での自由な呼出での呼気を受けるための空間を形成する装置(16;31)と 、定められた空間の空気中の前記物質の選択的な定量的検出のための手段(18 、22、23;34、35、36)とを具備することを特徴とする装置。 12.前記向かい合った開口部の一つを介して空気流を供給するための手段が 配設されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。 13.前記空間を定めている装置が、呼気が一方の端部から他方の端部へ流れ るために両端部で開いている管(16)を含み、前記管が一方の端部で開いてい るキュベット(10)内で同軸に取付けられており、管の前記一方の端部がキュ ベットの開いている端部から軸方向に内側に位置付けられており、 管(16)とキュベット(10)の間で定義される環状の間隙に接続され、管 にその前記一方の端部で連通している前記間隙に空気を供給するための手段(1 4、15)を具備することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。 14.前記間隙が又、キュベット(10)の前記一方の端部に連通しているこ とを特徴とする請求項13に記載の装置。 15.管を介して呼気を吸い込むために管(16)の前記他方の 端部に接続され、前記間隙に空気を供給するための手段(15’)を具備し、該 手段が前記手段(14、15)と共に交互に作動するようになっていることを特 徴とする請求項14に記載の装置。 16.キュベット(10)の前記一方の端部に注入口(13)を定める枠(1 2)が設けられていて、管(16)の前記一方の端部へ向かって、間隙を通って 供給される空気を方向転換するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1 4又は15に記載の装置。 17.交換可能なように注入口(13)へ挿入されているマウスピース(30 )を具備することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の装置。 18.マウスピース(30)が間隙と管(16)の前記一方の端部の間の連通 を遮断するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の装置。 19.選択的な定量的検出のための前記手段が、管(16)の前記一方の端部 に管(16)を通る軸方向に光線を放射する放射源(18)と、管(16)の前 記他方の端部に複数のフィルター(22)を有する検出器(23)とを具備する ことを特徴とする請求項13から18の何れか1項に記載の装置。 20.呼気中の特定物質の濃度と水蒸気の濃度を測定することとこれらの濃度 間の既知の関係を利用することとによって、血液中の前記物質の濃度を人の呼気 で間接的に測定するための方法で、呼気が定められた流路の一端で希釈されてい ない肺胞ガスとして吐き出され、前記濃度が流路中の希釈されていない肺胞ガス を測定することによって決定される方法において、 肺胞ガスの正確な蒸発温度を測定し、 血液中の前記物質の濃度を、通常値からの予め設定した蒸発温度のずれを考慮 して前記関係に従って測定することとを特徴とする方 法。 21.前記通常値が通常の体温37℃であることを特徴とする請求項20に記 載の方法。 22.希釈されていない肺胞ガスを測定する前に、予め定められた組成の基準 ガスを前記流路を通して流通させ、肺胞ガスを測定することによって前記濃度を 決定し、測定に使用する測定装置を較正することを特徴とする請求項20又は2 1に記載の方法。 23.基準ガスが、希釈されていない肺胞ガスの測定の後で、流路を通過させ られることと、基準ガスの測定が、較正の制御のために繰り返されることとを特 徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
