- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.アナライト種と相互作用でき、導電性ポリマーと組み合わせた、固定化し た親和性要素であって、親和性要素とアナライトの相互作用がポリマーの電気的 特性における変化を誘導するようになっている親和性要素、ポリマーにAC信号 を適用する手段、および適用した信号に対するポリマーの応答を検知して誘導さ れた変化を検知する手段を有して成るセンサーであって、検知する手段は、ポリ マーおよびアナライトについてのインピーダンス変化と周波数との関係における ピークに対応する周波数においてポリマーのインピーダンスを測定する手段を有 して成るセンサー。 2.インピーダンスの虚数部を、虚数部と周波数との関係においてピークが存 在する周波数にて測定する請求の範囲1に記載のセンサー。 3.インピーダンスの実数部を、実数部と周波数との関係においてピークが存 在する周波数にて測定する請求の範囲1または2に記載のセンサー。 4.ポリマーは、インピーダンスを測定する2つの電極の間を橋渡しする層の 形態である請求の範囲1〜3のいずれかに記載のセンサー。 5.2つの電極は、交互配置電極アッセンブリを一緒に規定する請求の範囲4 に記載のセンサー。 6.ポリマー層は5μm以下の厚さを有する請求の範囲4または5に記載のセ ンサー。 7.導電性ポリマーの層は、固定化された結合剤を含むか、その層を組み込む 請求の範囲4、5または6に記載のセンサー。 8.電極から遠い導電性ポリマー層の側に設けられたゲル層内に親和性要素が トラップされ、ゲルの厚さは50μm以下である請求の範囲7に記載のセンサー 。 9.親和性要素は導電性ポリマー内に固定化されている請求の範囲1〜8のい ずれかに記載のセンサー。 10.親和性要素は、導電性ポリマー上に設けられたゲル内にトラップするこ とにより固定化されている請求の範囲1〜7のいずれかに記載のセンサー。 11.導電性ポリマーは、ポリ(3−メチルチオフェン)である請求の範囲1 〜10のいずれかに記載のセンサー。 12.親和性要素は、高分子である請求の範囲1〜11のいずれかに記載のセ ンサー。 13.親和性要素は、バイオ要素である請求の範囲1〜12のいずれかに記載 のセンサー。 14.バイオ要素は酵素である請求の範囲13に記載のセンサー。 15.酵素はキナーゼまたはデヒドロゲナーゼ、またはピルベートの測定に適 当なL(+)乳酸デヒドロゲナーゼである請求の範囲14に記載のセンサー。 16.親和性要素は、抗体、抗原、レクチンまたはレセプターである請求の範 囲13に記載のセンサー。 17.導電性ポリマーはポリ(ピロール)である請求の範囲15に記載のセン サー。 18.アナライト種と相互作用でき、導電性ポリマーと組み合わせた、固定化 した親和性要素であって、親和性要素とアナライトの相互作用がポリマーの電気 的特性における変化を誘導するようになっている親和性要素、ポリマーにAC信 号を適用する手段、および適用した信号に対するポリマーの応答を検知して誘導 された変化を検知する手段を有して成るセンサーの感度を高める方法であって、 広範囲の周波数にわたってポリマーのインピーダンスを測定し、アナライトにポ リマーを曝して生じるインピーダンス変化と周波数との関係における少なくとも 1つのピークを検知し、検知した少なくとも1つのピークに対応する1またはそ れ以上の周波数にてセンサーを操作する方法。
