- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.動物にポリペプチドを投与する方法であって: (1)植物細胞中でプロセッシングされて、ウイルスキャプシドタンパク質 (AlMVキャプシドタンパク質またはアイラーウイルスキャプシドタンパク質)お よび植物ウイルスキャプシドタンパク質でないポリペプチドを含む融合キャプシ ドタンパク質を産生する組換え植物ウイルス核酸を、植物細胞に感染させて感染 細胞を作製する工程と、 (2)この感染細胞または該感染細胞から誘導された派生細胞を、前記感染 細胞または派生細胞が前記融合キャプシドタンパク質を製造するような条件下で 培養する工程と、 (3)前記融合キャプシドタンパク質またはその一宇を動物に投与する工程 とを具備する方法。 2.請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記組換え植物ウイルス核酸がTMV核酸 を含む方法。 3.請求項1に記載の方法であって、該方法の結果物が保護免疫である方法。 4.請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記融合キャプシドタンパク質が植物ま たは植物材料の一部である方法。 5.請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記工程(3)において、前記融合キャ プシドタンパク質は前記植物から純粋な形で抽出され、また植物の他の化合物を 実質的に含まないタンパク質として投与される方法。 6.請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記タンパク質はラブドウイルスタンパ ク質である方法。 7.請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記ポリペプチドはヒト免疫不全ウイル スタンパク質である方法。 8.請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記動物は哺乳類である方法。 9.動物にポリペプチドを投与する方法であって: (1)植物細胞中でプロセッシングされて、夫々が、植物ウイルスキャプシ ドタンパク質でない異なったポリペプチドを含み、更にAlMVキャプシドタンパク 質もしくはアイラーウイルスキャプシドタンパク質を含む複数の融合キャプ シドタンパク質を産生する複数の組換え植物ウイルス核酸を、植物細胞に感染さ せて感染細胞を作製する工程と、 (2)この感染細胞または該感染細胞から誘導された派生細胞を、前記感染 細胞または派生細胞が前記融合キャプシドタンパク質を製造するような条件下で 培養する工程と、 (3)前記融合キャプシドタンパク質またはその一宇を動物に投与する工程 とを具備する方法。 10.ポリペプチドを製造する方法であって: (1)植物細胞によりプロセッシングされて、AlMVまたはアイラーウイル スキャプシドタンパク質およびポリペプチド(これは植物ウイルスキャプシドタ ンパク質ではない)を含む融合キャプシドタンパク質を産生する組み替え植物ウ イルス核酸を、植物細胞に感染させることにより感染細胞を作製する工程と、 (2)前記感染細胞または前記感染細胞から誘導された派生細胞を、前記感 染細胞または派生細胞が前記融合キャプシドタンパク質を製造する条件下で培養 する工程とを具備する方法。 11.三成分融合キャプシドタンパク質を有する組換えウイルスであって、A lMVまたはアイラーウイルスでないウイルスのキャプシドタンパク質と、AlMV又 はアイラーウイルスのキャプシドタンパク質と、植物ウイルスポリペプチドでな いポリペプチドとを含む融合キャプシドタンパク質。 12.請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記方法の結果が、前記融合キャプシ ドタンパク質の一部であるが、植物ウイルスタンパク質ではないポリペプチドに 対する免疫反応である方法。 13.請求項12に記載の方法であって、前記免疫反応が、前記ポリペプチド に対する抗体のsなんせいである方法。
