When producing glass fibers, particularly glass fibers intended to be used in glass fiber reinforced plastics, the glass starting materials are melted in a furnace and the resulting glass melt is fed to various spinning stations. There, the glass composition emerges through a glass fiber spinneret, a so-called bush. The glass filaments emerging from the spinneret are drawn, cooled, for example by air cooling or water spray, and collected to form a bundle of one or several fibers. Optionally, the bundle of fibers is finished and then wound on a bobbin or fed to a cutting device. This material is used for the next step, for example the production of glass fiber reinforced thermoplastics. A specific spinneret for spinning glass fibers is shown in EP-A-229 648. The spinneret comprises a row of peaks on the base plate arranged along a straight line from endplate to endplate of the spinneret. Two separate power supply wires are located on each endplate. Electrical current is passed through the spinneret by a power supply lead to heat the glass melt. Although the purpose of this construction is to provide advantages over the prior art for uniform heating of the glass melt, practical experience with the use of such a bush has shown that the temperature distribution of the diameter of the glass fiber and the resulting uniformity. Shows gender bias. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 01-333011 describes a method for producing a glass fiber spinneret. In this method, the spinneret peak is secured to the spinneret by soldering a pre-manufactured conical peak element into a hole made in the spinneret with the aid of a platinum shim. Have been. The peaks are grouped in two rows, each extending across the direction of the heating current through the spinneret base plate. The spinning performance at the spinning station is measured, inter alia, by the total number or peaks per area of the spinneret, hereinafter simply referred to as peaks for the spinneret. However, the number of peaks on the spinneret is limited. The constraint can be attributed to irregularities in the temperature distribution on the spinneret when the peak density is too high. Non-uniform temperature distribution results in more frequent filament breaks and droplets of the glass composition, thereby significantly reducing the yield of glass fibers. A further disadvantage is the reduced temperature of the parts of the spinneret during the joining process, where the joining time is undesirably prolonged. The spinning performance of the spinneret is limited by further processing speeds, such as the maximum winding speed of a fiber winder or the processing speed of an associated cutting device when producing milled glass fibers. The object of the present invention is to avoid these drawbacks, to make it possible to achieve a spinning performance of> 40 kg / h and, in particular, the use of a spinneret at a fiber diameter of 8 to 30 μm and to achieve as homogeneous a temperature as possible in the region of the spinneret. It was to provide a glass fiber spinning device with a distribution. The objectives include a melting chamber formed by side walls, end plates with power supply connections and a base plate, a glass melt supply line and a row of peaks as a glass melt outlet opening, comprising three rows A process for producing glass fibers, characterized in that the above rows, in particular three to five rows of peaks, are arranged in a closely arranged manner to form a main row with a gap between adjacent peaks of up to 2.0 mm. This is achieved according to the invention by a spinneret. The main row of spinneret peaks extends, inter alia, parallel to the side wall of the spinneret. The power supply connections of the endplates of the spinneret are connected to the endplates via, inter alia, two respective contact surfaces, their upper and / or upper and / or equal current conduction to the contact surfaces. Comprising a lower additional current distribution lug. In a preferred embodiment of the spinneret according to the invention, the base plate of the spinneret has an additional stiffening element on its upper side. The stiffening element is preferably made of the same material as the base or side wall of the spinneret, usually a platinum / rhodium alloy having a rhodium content of 10 to 35% by weight. The stiffening element used may be a metal profile, for example, V-shaped, T-shaped or U-shaped, which is welded onto the base plate and provides an opening for feeding the glass melt to the peak. Comprising. The stiffening elements are preferably arranged along the main row of peaks of the spinneret. When these are welded to the base plate and the end plates, a particularly long service life is achieved when using profiles, especially V-shaped profiles. The stiffening elements can be arranged to include one or more primary rows over their width. The incorporation of the stiffening element results in a quicker and more homogeneous distribution of the temperature on the base plate, so that the filament can be drawn out in a homogeneous and uniform manner. The improved temperature distribution leads to an improvement in the standard deviation of the fiber diameter by up to 20%. Stiffening of the base plate also improves the long-term stability of the base plate, thereby significantly extending the life of the spinneret. In a further preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, a special cooling element, for example a cooling pipe or a cooling vane, is mounted below the base plate between the main rows of peaks, optionally to improve the heat exchange. It comprises additional cooling vanes above and / or below them. Depending on the method of manufacture, the peak of the spinneret is either cylindrical or conical, in particular having a hole diameter of 1 to 2.5 mm. The minimum distance between the peaks in the main peak train is ≧ 2.5 mm, preferably 2.5 to 6 mm. The thickness of the power supply connection is preferably 2.5 to 7 mm and is selected according to the width of the spinneret. The drawing speed of the glass fiber is, inter alia, about 600 to 3,000 m / min, preferably 600 to 1,500 m / min. The stiffening element is preferably 0.5 to 1.6 mm thick. The holes in the stiffening element are preferably 5 to 15 mm in diameter. The contact surface of the power supply connection has a width of 20 to 100 mm and preferably includes a gap of 15 to 30 mm between them. The invention also relates to the use of the spinnerets according to the invention for producing glass fibers, inter alia, of 8 to 30μ, preferably 9 to 24μ in diameter. Further preferred embodiments of the present invention are disclosed in the appended claims. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention is explained in more detail below by way of example with reference to the drawings, in which FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a cross section inside the spinneret, and FIG. 3a and 3b are front and plan views, respectively, of a power supply connection of the spinneret, and FIG. 4 is a plan view of the spinneret showing the position of the power supply connection. FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the inner part of a known spinneret, and FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the spinneret of FIG. The respective rows 3 of the three rows of the example peak 2 are grouped together on the base plate 1 of the spinneret 10 to form a main row 9 on the spinneret. The peak holes 2 in the middle row of each main row 9 are each staggered with respect to the symmetric holes in the outer row. A V-shaped stiffened sheet 4 made of a Pt / Rh alloy (90/10) is welded to the entire length of the base plate 1 and includes about 35 holes 15 over the entire length. There are additionally small cooling tubes below the base plate between the main rows to achieve equal cooling of the glass filaments forming below the spinneret (see FIG. 1). In FIG. 4, not only the arrangement of the holes in the base plate 1 but also the arrangement of the stiffening sheets are reproduced in a simple form in a plan view, and the entire row of holes is not shown for simplification. The power supply connections 6 and 6 'for heating the spinneret are connected to the end plates 5 and 5' via two contact surfaces with a gap therebetween just below the center of the end plates. (See FIG. 4 or FIGS. 3a and 3b). In contrast to the simple spinneret structure which can be deduced from the prior art (according to FIG. 5 or FIG. 6), the modified arrangement of the spinning peaks on the spinneret 10 is the operating standard when measuring the average fiber diameter. An improvement of about 20% of the deviation is achieved. The service life of the spinneret used is extended by about 40% over a normal spinneret.
