Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for lamination molding and a method for lamination molding capable of easily arranging a skin material and not leaving a mark of a suction hole on a surface of the skin material in a mold for laminating the skin material on a surface of a core material resin by arranging the skin material in one mold and laminating a core material molten resin on a rear surface of the skin material. SOLUTION: In a first embodiment, the mold for laminating the skin material on a front surface of the skin material by arranging the skin material in one mold and laminating a core material molten resin on a rear surface of the skin material comprises the suction hole for sucking the skin material at a split surface or a bitten part of the mold of the side for arranging the skin material out of a mold cavity. In a second embodiment, the method for lamination molding comprises the steps of arranging the skin material in the mold having the suction hole for sucking the skin material to the split surface of the bitten part of the mold out of the mold cavity, sucking the skin material, closely contacting the skin material and holding the material with the mold, then closing the mold and injection molding or injection press molding the skin material.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, resin molded products used for automobiles, home appliances, building materials, and the like are provided with added values such as decorativeness and tactile sensation to enhance the quality and added value of the molded products, or by reducing the molding process. In order to reduce costs, it is often produced by a lamination molding method in which a skin material having a decorative layer made of resin is fused and integrated to the surface of a core material made of a thermoplastic resin. In this lamination molding method, it is often employed to hold the skin material by vacuum suction from a gas passage provided in a mold. These prior arts include the following.

As described above, according to the prior art, since the suction hole is opened on the surface of the mold cavity in contact with the skin material, the pressure and temperature histories of the resin during molding can be used. There is a problem in that traces of openings remain on the surface of the skin material, which deteriorates the surface appearance of the molded product. Further, the method of holding the skin material by suction from a slit provided in a non-product portion in the mold cavity has a problem that a shape having no non-product portion cannot be used. It is an object of the present invention to provide a lamination molding die apparatus and a lamination molding method that can easily arrange a skin material and leave no trace of suction holes on the surface of the skin material.

Embodiment 1 As shown in FIG. 1, in this embodiment,
The split surface of the mold is flat, and a suction hole is provided in the split surface of the movable mold. Moving the preformed skin material 4 into a movable mold 2
And a mold is sucked by a vacuum pump (not shown) to perform mold clamping, and a molten resin is injected from a resin passage into a mold cavity space formed by the skin material 4 and the fixed mold 1. It is preferable to stop the suction before injecting the molten resin. After the shaping is completed, the movable mold is slightly opened at a predetermined timing to form an air heat insulating layer, and is held for a predetermined time. Thereby, the damage of the skin material generated at the time of shaping can be self-recovered by the elasticity of the resin. Thereafter, the mold is opened, a molded product is taken out, and trimming for cutting off a non-product part is performed.

Embodiment 2 As shown in FIG. 2, in this embodiment,
It has a mold opening structure, and a suction hole is provided on the movable mold side at the fitting portion of both molds. The preformed skin material 4 is disposed in the movable mold 2, suction is performed by a vacuum pump (not shown) to perform mold clamping, and a molten resin is formed from the resin passage by the skin material 4 and the fixed mold 1. Inject into mold cavity space. Subsequent steps are the same as in the first embodiment.

Embodiment 3 As shown in FIG. 3, in this embodiment,
The split surface of the mold is flat, a plurality of suction holes are provided in the split surface of the movable mold, and a throttle valve 12 is provided in each gas passage. Each throttle valve adjusts the strength of the throttle according to the retracted length of the skin material. That is, where the drawing length of the skin material is long, the aperture is weakened, and the skin material is smoothly slid into the mold by the injected molten resin. In this state, the skin material 11 not preformed
Is disposed in the movable mold 2, suction is performed by a vacuum pump (not shown) to perform mold clamping, and the molten resin is injected into the mold cavity formed by the skin material 4 and the fixed mold 1 from the resin passage. I do. Subsequent steps are the same as in the first embodiment.

[Embodiment 4] In the case of a skin material having an uneven pattern such as a grain on its surface, or a skin material having a surface layer formed by processing fibers such as woven fabric, nonwoven fabric or woven fabric, the gas sealing property near the suction hole is poor. Therefore, the vacuum suction force decreases. In such a case, an adhesive tape may be used as shown in FIG. That is, by applying an adhesive surface to the skin material side and integrating the skin material and an adhesive tape having a smooth surface (anti-adhesion surface side), and applying this to a suction hole, a reduction in vacuum suction force is prevented. Can be. Since this adhesive tape is in the non-product part of the molded product, it is removed by trimming.

As described in the above embodiment, since the skin material is suction-held from the suction holes provided on the mold split surface other than the product surface, no trace of the suction holes remains in the product portion. Thus, it is possible to obtain a beautiful bonded product over the entire design surface. In addition, by adjusting the suction force of each of the plurality of suction holes with the throttle valve, the amount of the skin material drawn in according to the shape of the mold can be adjusted, so that generation and deformation of wrinkles can be prevented. The surface material is preferably a sheet or film having a surface layer made of resin or a thermoplastic elastomer. However, in the case of a surface material having a textured surface such as a grain or a surface material having a surface layer obtained by processing a fiber such as a woven or nonwoven fabric or a woven fabric, the suction force is reduced. In such a case, it may be attached to a skin material such as an adhesive tape having a smooth surface so that air hardly leaks at the time of suction. Even if this adhesive tape or the like is partially adhered to the skin material, there is no problem because it is outside the product surface.
