しているため当該排気管に複雑な曲げ加工が必要であ
る。ところが従来のような単なる外管と内管からなる二
重管を曲げ加工する際には、ストレート状の外管に所定
の空間を開けてストレート状の内管を挿入嵌合し、曲げ
加工時に内管を外管に追随させるために外管と内管の先
端部を溶接等で接合し、さらに外管と内管との間に鉛や
低融点合金を溶かして詰めたり、水を詰めこおらしてロ
ータリーベンダー等で曲げ加工し、その後に充填材を溶
出させていたために、充填材の充填及び溶出のための特
別の装置が必要であり、曲げ加工費が高価なものになる
だけでなく、外管と内管の間に同芯精度よく充填及び曲
げ加工するのが困難であり作業環境もよくなかった。一
方、曲げ加工性を良くするために外管と内管との接触部
を多くとるとその接触部からの熱伝導により排ガス温度
