Therefore, in practice, the components are separated by a method called nugget processing. This nugget treatment is a method in which the wire harness is cut into whole pieces, roughly separated into metal and plastic by a vibration separator using the specific gravity difference, and only the metal part is taken out by mixing copper generated from electric wires and brass etc. generated from connectors. is there. The extracted mixed metal is processed and used as a copper alloy for decorative articles. However, the separation of the extracted mixed metal into copper and brass could not be performed for economic reasons because their specific gravities are very similar.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described.
When the wire harness main body 1 and the connector 3 as shown in FIG. 1 are separated, the disassembling machine shown in FIG. 2 is used, and the wire harness is introduced into the dismantling machine as shown in FIG. That is, the wire harness main body 1 is conveyed while being sandwiched between the belt portions 11 of the conveyor 10, and is introduced by, for example, a manual operation so that the connector 3 is applied to the rotor 12 side. Then, the rotation of the rotor section 12 causes the needle-like members 14, 15,
The connector 16 is separated so as to tear off the connector 3, and the separated connector 3 hits the scraping projection 18 by the scraping projection 18, and is discharged and collected downward through the hole 19. FIG. 6 shows a state of the wire harness main body 1 from which the connector 3 is separated, and FIG. 7 shows a state of the separated connector 3.

In this embodiment, the rotor section 12 is divided into three sections as described above, and the pitches of the needle members 14, 15, 16 in the axial direction are different in each section. This state is shown in detail in FIG. 8 (cross-sectional view taken along the line XY in FIG. 3). The needle-like members 14 in the first section have a coarse pitch and are intended for separating large connectors, and the needle-like members 15 in the second section are for medium-pitch and medium-size connectors. The needle-like members 16 in the section (1) have a fine pitch and are intended for separating small connectors. With such a configuration, the connectors 3 having various dimensions can be separated. Therefore, according to the wire harness dismantling machine of the present embodiment, connectors having different sizes can be separated stepwise. After the connector 3 and the wire harness main body are separated from each other, normal recycling is performed by dividing each of them, and the brass generated from the connector 3 and the wire harness main body 1 are separated.

Although the present invention has been described based on one embodiment, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications and changes can be made as described below. First, in the above-described embodiment, a needle-shaped member was used as the connector separating means, but the present invention is not limited to this. If the connector can be forcibly separated, a member having a claw or the like for tearing off, etc. Those having an appropriate shape can be used. Further, in the above embodiment, the rotor portion 12 is divided into three sections in the axial direction, and needle-shaped members having different cross-sectional dimensions and pitches are provided.
Only the pitch may be different, only the cross-sectional dimension may be different, or all may be the same. In the above embodiment, the rotor unit 12 is provided on one side. However, when automation is to be achieved, rotor units may be provided on both sides. Further, instead of the conveyor 10 of the above embodiment,
A transport conveyor as shown in FIG. 9 may be used. 2 in the figure
