されない。この結果、排気口3の他端部5b側では負圧
が生じ逆流Cが発生し、排気効率が極端に低下してしま
い風量を大きくできない上に、排気の偏りによる風速の
ばらつきから風速が速い部分で風切音が発生して騒音が
増大するという問題があった。また、騒音を抑える例と
しては「特開昭63−197512」のように、シロッ
コファン4の外径近傍にボスを立設して排気Bの流れを
調整する方法も提案されている。しかしながら、この方
法では異常音を無くして聞きやすい音にすることはでき
るが、騒音自体を抑えることはできないという問題があ
り、また、シロッコファン4の外径近傍にボスを立設す
るため小型化できないという問題があった。本発明は、
上記のような問題に鑑みてなされたもので、排気口での
排気の偏りをなくし排気効率を上げることで、小型であ
りながら風量が大きく騒音が小さい空気清浄機を提供す
ることを目的としている。
