Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a submarine phenomenon with an occupant seated on a seat of a cab-over-engine vehicle with a simple structure for installing the seat. SOLUTION: In the seat 1 installed on a cab floor 3 of the cab-over-engine vehicle or an engine cover 2 for closing an engine service hole 30 provided in the cab floor 3, a reinforcing plate 4 comprising an approximately angled section and extending to a direction of seat width with forming a closed section with the cab floor 3 or the engine cover 2 is provided to the cab floor 3 or the engine cover 2 in a position corresponding to a front end of the seat 1. The reinforcing plate 4 is made to project into a seat cushion 10 of the seat 1 so as to prevent downwardly forward movement of the lower half of the body of the occupant P, seated on the seat with the upper half of the body restricted by a seatbelt B, by the reinforcing plate 4 at the time of collision of the vehicle and the like, and the submarine phenomenon is prevented.

By the way, in a structure in which the seat cushion 10 is directly installed on the engine cover 2 or the cab floor 3 like the above-mentioned passenger seat 1A, conventionally, a driver's seat mounted on a slide rail is conventionally used. A cushion panel 5 is provided on the lower surface of the seat cushion 10 in the same manner as the seat, and the cushion panel 5 is overlapped on the engine cover 2 or the cab floor 3 and fixed by bolts. If the cushion panel 5 is omitted, the seat weight is reduced. And
In addition, the cost is reduced. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a seat installation structure for a cab-over type vehicle in which a cushion panel is omitted, a seat is stably held on an engine cover or a cab floor, and a submarine phenomenon of an occupant can be prevented. It was done.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cab floor of a cab-over type vehicle or a seat installed on an engine cover that closes an engine service hole provided on the cab floor. At the position corresponding to the front end of the seat, a reinforcing plate that extends in the seat width direction with a substantially mountain-shaped cross section and forms a closed cross section with the cab floor or the engine cover is fixed,
The reinforcing plate is made to protrude into the seat cushion of the seat to prevent the seat occupant from submarine phenomenon (claim 1). The seat does not have a cushion panel, but a closed cross-section rigid reinforcing plate provided on the engine cover or cab floor projects inside the front end of the seat cushion, so the occupant seats the seat cushion forward when the vehicle suddenly decelerates forward. Since the load to be moved is received by the reinforcing plate, the sheet is stable. At the same time, the movement of the occupant with respect to the seat cushion is prevented by the reinforcing plate, and the submarine phenomenon is prevented.

The engine cover 2 has a seat mounting surface 21
A reinforcing plate 4 is fixed to the front end of the upper surface along the width direction. The reinforcing plate 4 is a metal plate having a substantially angled cross section in the front-rear direction. The front surface from the front edge to the top has a steep inclination angle, and the rear surface from the top to the rear edge has a slightly gentler inclination angle than the front surface. It is. The reinforcing plate 4 is reinforced by providing a plurality of convex beads 41 at predetermined intervals in the width direction.
The left and right ends of the reinforcing plate 4 are closed, and a coupling flange 42 that overlaps with the sheet mounting surface 21 is formed on the outer periphery of the lower edge. The passenger seat 1 includes a seat cushion 10.
The recess 11 and the reinforcing plate 4 are aligned so that the reinforcing plate 4 protrudes into the front end of the seat cushion 10, and the mounting brackets 61 are aligned with the fixing seats 22 of the engine cover 2 so that the mounting brackets 61 are aligned. The stud bolt is inserted into the bolt through hole of the fixing seat 22, and a nut is fastened to the stud bolt from below the engine cover 2 to fix the stud bolt to the engine cover 2. The passenger seat 1 tilts integrally with the engine cover 2 when the engine cover 2 is opened and closed.

At the time of sudden deceleration such as at the time of a vehicle collision, the passenger sits on the front passenger seat 1 and attempts to move so that the lower body of the seated occupant P whose upper body is restrained by the seat belt B falls forward and downward. A large forward load acts on the seat cushion 10. This load is received by the high-rigidity reinforcing plate 4 having a closed-section structure protruding into the front end of the seat cushion 10 of the engine cover 2. Therefore, the seat cushion 1
No. 0 is fixed to the engine cover 2 only through the ring-shaped core material 6 embedded therein, and is stably held without displacement. At this time, the lower body of the occupant P further attempts to move forward and downward with respect to the seat cushion 10 as shown by the white arrow, but this movement is prevented by the reinforcing plate 4 and the submarine phenomenon is prevented.

The engine cover 2 has a seat belt B of the passenger seat 1 at a position inside the passenger seat 1 on the vehicle side.
The anchor on the buckle side is fixed (not shown). For this reason, a large load acts on the engine cover 2 from the seat bell B that restrains the occupant P when the vehicle suddenly decelerates, via the anchor. In this case, the engine cover 2 is hinged to the cab floor 3 and the front end of the engine cover 2 which is a free end, which has conventionally had a slightly lower bending stiffness with respect to the latter half having a higher bending stiffness, is also provided by a reinforcing plate 4 along the width direction. Since the flexural rigidity is enhanced and the rigidity of the engine cover 2 is increased as a whole, the strength against the load can be sufficiently secured.

Although the description has been given of the passenger seat provided on the engine cover, the tilt-type cab-over type vehicle in which the entire cabin is tilted forward to open the engine room does not require an engine service hall on the cab floor. . Therefore, as shown in FIG.
And a seat cushion 10 of the passenger seat 1 is installed on the cab floor 3 by the same means as in the engine cover. In the drawings, the same members as those in the above embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals. This embodiment also has the same operation and effect as the previous embodiment.
