Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for volatizing a chemical improved in volatilization efficiency by efficiently utilizing a thermal energy of an exothermic means. SOLUTION: This apparatus for volatilizing the chemical is obtained by installing a heating chamber 6c surrounded by a volatilizing cylinder 6 around the exothermic means 7 and making the upper part of the heating chamber 6c communicate with a volatilizing port 2c opened to the upper part of an apparatus body 1 in the apparatus for volatilizing the chemical capable of sucking the chemical in a chemical container 4 with a liquid sucking wick 5, heating the liquid sucking wick 5 with the exothermic means 7 and thereby volatilizing the chemical. Since the chemical can efficiently be volatilized with heat of the heating chamber 6c surrounded by the exothermic means 7 and the volatizing cylinder 6, the volatilizing efficiency can remarkably be improved.

According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an ink jet recording apparatus, comprising: absorbing a liquid medicine in a medicine container with a liquid absorbing core; and heating the liquid absorbing core by a heating means. In a medicine evaporating apparatus for evaporating medicine, a heating chamber surrounded by an evaporating cylinder is provided around a heating means, and an upper part of the heating chamber is communicated with an evaporating opening opened at an upper part of the apparatus main body. .

[0008] With the above structure, the heating chamber surrounded by the evaporating cylinder is in a heat-insulating chamber state in which the heating chamber is shut off from the outside air by the evaporating cylinder, thereby greatly escaping the heat generated by the heat generating means to the outside air. Because the drug can be evaporated efficiently, the drug can be heated even if the device is tilted accidentally because the liquid absorption core exposed from the drug container is surrounded by the evaporation tube. Since it does not flow out of the room, there is no problem such as soiling of the device main body or deformation of the device main body due to the medicine.

Next, the operation of the above-structured drug evaporation device will be described. When the medicine container 4 is mounted in the container accommodating chamber 3a of the lower housing 3 and the power switch 8 is turned on, power is supplied to the heating element 7a of the heating means 7, so that the heat radiation tube 7b is heated by the heat generated from the heating element 7a. Then, the upper part of the liquid absorbent core 5 is heated by the heat of the radiating tube 7b, and the medicine sucked up from the inside of the medicine container 4 by the liquid absorbent core 5 evaporates.

The vaporized medicine rises in the heating chamber 6c surrounded by the evaporation tube 6, and is released into the air from the evaporation port 2c opened in the heat radiating portion 2b. The air in the apparatus main body 1 flows from the ventilation port 6b opened on the outer peripheral surface of the lower part of the evaporation tube 6, and the airflow shown by the arrow in FIG. 1 is generated, so that the evaporation efficiency is improved.

On the other hand, the heat generated by the heating element 7a is
is transmitted to the evaporation tube 6 to which a is attached, and the entire evaporation tube 6 is heated, whereby the temperature of the heating chamber 6c surrounded by the evaporation tube 6 becomes higher, so that the evaporation efficiency is improved, Most of the heat energy generated from the heating element 7a contributes to the evaporation of the medicine, so that the thermal efficiency is greatly improved.

In the embodiment of the present invention, the radiating cylinder 7
When the sectional area of b is S1 and the sectional area of the evaporation tube 6 is S2, S2 / S1 = 3 to 20 is set. This is the area ratio S of the sectional area S2 of the evaporation tube 6 and the sectional area S1 of the radiating tube 7b.
When 2 / S1 is less than 3, the heat retention effect becomes too good, and the balance between the amount of drug vaporized in the heating chamber 6c and the flow rate of air is lost, and a large amount of the vaporized drug is contained in the heating chamber 6c and the transpiration port 2.
c, which not only adheres to the surroundings, but also pollutes the inside of the device body 1,
Sufficient transpiration cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if S2 / S1 is larger than 20, a sufficient heat retaining effect cannot be obtained, so that the thermal efficiency does not improve. Therefore, by setting the range of S2 / S1 to 3 to 20, thermal efficiency is improved, loss of chemical solution and energy is reduced, and stable evaporation can be performed even when the apparatus main body 1 is used by being tilted by mistake.

The ventilation port 6b opened on the outer periphery of the lower part of the evaporation tube 6 is important for improving the evaporation efficiency by allowing sufficient air to flow into the heating chamber 6c in the evaporation tube 6, and especially for the evaporation tube. By providing two to five vents 6c having substantially the same opening area on the outer periphery of the lower part of 6, the transpiration efficiency can be further improved.

As described above in detail, according to the present invention, a heating chamber surrounded by a vaporizing cylinder is provided around a heating means for heating a liquid absorbing core, and the upper part of the heating chamber is connected to the upper part of the apparatus main body. Since the heating chamber, which is surrounded by the evaporation tube, is insulated from the outside air by the evaporation tube, the heat generated by the heating means is transferred to the outside air. When the device is tilted by mistake because the escape of the drug can be efficiently performed because the escape can be greatly reduced, and the periphery of the liquid absorption core exposed from the drug container is surrounded by the evaporation tube. However, since the medicine does not flow out of the heating chamber, problems such as contamination of the inside of the apparatus main body by the medicine and deformation of the apparatus main body do not occur.

Further, since the heating element constituting the heating means is brought into contact with the evaporating cylinder so that a part thereof is exposed to the outside of the evaporating cylinder, heat in the heating chamber is maintained by the evaporating cylinder. Most of the thermal energy generated by the means contributes to the transpiration of the drug, thereby greatly improving the transpiration efficiency.
