源が供給不能な場所でも使用を可能とするため、加熱源
としてアルコール等の揮発性燃料を用い、この燃料を白
金、パラジウム等の触媒と空気中で触媒させる際生ずる
反応熱を利用して金属製の放熱板を加熱し、この放熱板
上に殺虫マットを載置して蒸散させる方式が種々提案さ
れている。
