The more specific method of the present invention is as follows. That is, in order to perform inspection or repair of the upper part of the furnace provided with the hanging type heat transfer device or the like in the furnace, in the installation method of the scaffold extended to be provided in the furnace, the scaffold was provided on the bottom wall portion of the sub-side wall. From the manhole into the furnace, load the scaffold installation equipment including the in-furnace distraction scaffold, pulley and wire take-up roller, and wire the wire from the wire take-up roller to the tip of the furnace distraction scaffold via the pulley. Attaching, temporarily placing the scaffold for in-furnace extension in the furnace width direction, lowering the pulley support wire from the opening provided in the ceiling, lifting the pulley to the ceiling with the wire, and winding the wire By winding the wire from the roller, a scaffold for in-furnace distraction is set up, and the rotation direction of the pulley is set in the fore-and-aft direction of the furnace, in a direction in which the in-furnace distraction scaffold distracts into the furnace. The wire is sent out by the yarn take-up roller, and the scaffold for in-furnace distraction is lowered from the gap between the screen tubes toward the front of the furnace until it is horizontal. Extruded forward, the in-furnace distraction scaffold was fixed at the intersection of the scaffold with the screen tube, and the operation was sequentially repeated, and at least the in-furnace distraction scaffold extended into the furnace by the operation 2
Connecting the books to each other by a connecting means, and in the step, at least two or more of the in-furnace extension scaffolds extended into the furnace, from the side near the fixed portion to the screen tube, in the forward direction of the furnace, Sequentially attaching scaffolding restraining means to the inwardly extending scaffold; and, in said step, restraining the in-furnace inwardly extending scaffold in the furnace to a suspended heat exchanger; Providing a working floor between the inward distraction scaffolds.
