【請求項１】単繊維繊度が１デシテックス以下、フィラメント数が５０本以上のポリエステル極細マルチフィラメント糸（Ａ）と単繊維繊度が２〜４デシテックスのポリエステルマルチフィラメント糸（Ｂ）とからなり、フィラメント糸（Ｂ）がループをなして鞘部を形成し、極細マルチフィラメント糸（Ａ）がその一部を鞘部表面に露出させて芯部を形成する複合仮撚加工糸が、布帛面積の１０％以上を占めて構成された吸水性布帛。
【請求項２】 複合仮撚加工糸が、単繊維繊度が１デシテックス以下、フィラメント数が５０本以上のポリエステル極細マルチフィラメント延伸糸（ａ）と複屈折率Δｎが３０×１０−３〜８０×１０−３、単繊維繊度が２〜４デシテックスのポリエステルマルチフィラメント部分配向糸（ｂ）とを、混繊処理した後、少なくともポリエステルマルチフィラメント部分配向糸（ｂ）が延伸を受けぬ条件下で仮撚加工することによって得られた複合仮撚加工糸である請求項１記載の吸水性布帛。
