2. Description of the Related Art In order to prevent a drilling hole excavated by a shield machine from collapsing, usually, a plurality of segments divided in a circumferential direction are assembled in a ring shape by a circumferential joint to cover the drilling hole. In this way, the segment assembled in a ring shape along with the construction is joined to the ring segment installed immediately before by an axial joint in the axial direction to overlap the width of the ring and advance the tunnel.

[0003] For joining by the axial joint, conventionally, a method of fastening opposed steel plates with holes with bolts and nuts has been used in many cases. However, in this method, a large amount of manpower and time are required for joining the rings between the segments, and there is a variation in bolt tightening and a variation in joining quality.

[0004] As a method of improving the above-mentioned tightening and joining of bolts and nuts by hand, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-25 / 1995
Japanese Patent Publication No. 320 proposes a technique in which a projecting pin is buried in one joining end face in the circumferential joining of the segments, and a fitting member for fitting the tip of the pin is buried in the other end face, and one-touch joining is performed. ing. And it proposes that this technique is not limited to circumferential joining. This method is easy to join, but has a disadvantage that the tensile strength in the axial direction is insufficient due to the joint originally developed for the circumferential joint.

In Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 8-210095, a male connecting member is attached to one of the segments, and a female connecting member is attached to the other of the segments so that the male connecting member is prevented from falling off by fitting. A technology has been proposed in which the segment buried portion is covered with an elastic material to allow radial displacement and absorb errors in the connection position. This method has a drawback in that it uses a number of high-precision parts and is difficult to mount on a segment. JP-A-10-205289 discloses that
A male connecting rod is attached to one of the segments, a female engaging cylinder is attached to the other, and the outer periphery of the engaging cylinder is supported by a rubber ring.
We have proposed a technology that can easily join even if the center axis of the joint is shifted. Although this method is easy to join, there is a concern that the joining force may be reduced or separated due to deterioration of the rubber during long-term use.

The applicant of the present invention has disclosed in Japanese Patent Application No. Hei 10-329140 a male pin provided on one side of a segment having a drop groove in a protruding part and a buried part covered with a rubber tube, and an inner hole in the other part of the segment. A technique is proposed in which a female bar having a split ring supported by an elastic material is buried therein, and the quarter ring is inserted into a dropping groove by inserting a male rod to prevent the ring from falling out. Further, in Japanese Patent Application No. Hei 11-088019, a protruding pin of a male fitting is attached to one of the segments, and a ring-shaped mild steel pipe having an inner diameter smaller than the pin and an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the female fitting is attached to the female fitting of the other segment. A joint is proposed in which insertion of a pin absorbs misalignment errors due to loose movement of the mild steel pipe in the radial direction, and prevents the detachment of the mild steel pipe by expanding joints. The above-described invention of the present applicant absorbs errors in the connection position, has a simple joint shape, and has high joining strength. However, as a result of subsequent research, it has been possible to develop and propose joints with higher joint strength and no deterioration.

A segment coupling device according to the present invention is a segment coupling device for joining two adjacent segments, the female coupling member provided on one of the segments and the female coupling member. And a male connecting member provided on the other segment, the outer end of which is fitted into and joined to the other segment. The male connecting member is provided with a first rod-shaped member embedded in the segment and a member protruding from the segment end face. A locking bolt, an outer end of the locking bolt having a tapered tip and an annular groove formed in an intermediate portion, and the female connecting member is embedded in a second segment.
A ring member slidably disposed in a hole formed in the second rod member at an axial center thereof; and a plurality of pin holding portions provided on an outer periphery of the second rod member. A pin urged by an elastic material so as to be slidable inward in the radial direction in the inner hole of the pin holding portion, and when the outer end is fitted into the hole of the second rod-shaped member, The ring, which has closed the annular groove at the tip of the outer end, is pushed into the inside of the hole, and the pin fits into the annular groove.

When the male rod of the male connecting member provided on one segment is fitted into the hole of the female connecting member provided on the other segment by the above-described segment coupling device of the present invention, the female The pin of the mold connecting member is fitted into the annular groove of the male rod portion to fix the joint in the front-rear direction and join. The joints do not disengage because the pins resist the pulling force on the segment. And since the locking bolt is screwed to the first rod-shaped member, it can be attached on site, and by removing and transporting it, it is possible to prevent problems such as bending that occur during transportation.

With the movement of the ring 30, the male rod 14 also moves to the back, and the pressing force of the pin 29 inward in the radial direction moves from the ring 30 to the male rod 14. When the annular groove 15 reaches the position of the pin 29 due to the progress of the insertion of the male rod part 14, the pin 29 is pushed out and inserted into the annular groove 15 by the elasticity of the coil spring 27 as shown in FIG. The locking bolt 12 and the rod-shaped member 21 are fixed in the axial front-rear direction by the pin 29. At this time, the gap between the end face 1f and the end face 1m is zero. Once the pins 29 once fitted in the annular groove 15, even if a tensile force is applied to the segments 1 and 1, four pins per one joint device 3 resist,

The effects of the present invention are listed below. (1) When the male rod portion of the male connecting member provided on one segment is fitted into the hole of the female connecting member provided on the other segment by the segment coupling device of the present invention, the female The pin of the connecting member is fitted into the annular groove of the male rod, and the joint is fixedly moved in the front-rear direction. The joints do not disengage because the pins resist the pulling force on the segment. (2) Due to the taper provided at the tip of the male rod and the chamfer provided at the entrance of the hole of the female connecting member, the displacement of the joining position and the segment manufacturing error can be absorbed and the fitting and joining can be easily performed. (3) The shape and structure of the joint device are simple and easy to manufacture and install in a segment. (4) Since the bar-shaped member of the male connecting member and the bar-shaped member of the female connecting member are embedded in the segment, they serve as a reinforcing bar for the segment and also serve as a segment strength member. (5) Since the locking bolt can be removed, it can be mounted on site and can be prevented from bending or deforming during transportation.

を特徴とするセグメントの継手装置。
1. A segment joint device for joining two adjacent segments, wherein a female connecting member provided on one of the segments and an other end of which is joined by fitting an outer end portion into the female connecting member. A male connecting member provided on the segment, the male connecting member comprising a first rod-like member embedded in the segment and a locking bolt projecting from the end face of the segment, and an outer end of the locking bolt. The portion has a tapered tip and an annular groove formed in the middle, and the female connecting member is a second member embedded in the segment.
A ring member slidably disposed in a hole formed in the second rod member at an axial center thereof; and a plurality of pin holding portions provided on an outer periphery of the second rod member. A pin urged by an elastic material so as to be slidable inward in the radial direction in the inner hole of the pin holding portion, and when the outer end is fitted into the hole of the second rod-shaped member, The ring coupling device, wherein the ring, which has closed the annular groove at the tip of the outer end, is pushed into the inside of the hole, and the pin fits into the annular groove.
