The lighting fixture of the present embodiment has a lamp 7
A lighting circuit (not shown) for turning on the light, a switch element (not shown) inserted into a power supply path to the lamp 7, and a hot-wire sensor 8 composed of a pyroelectric element for detecting the presence or absence of a person in the detection area
(See FIG. 1B), a brightness sensor (not shown) made of CdS for detecting the surrounding brightness, a signal processing unit for controlling the switch element based on the outputs of the hot-wire sensor 8 and the brightness sensor ( (Not shown). Here, when the detection output by the hot-wire sensor 8 is obtained in a state where the brightness detected by the brightness sensor is equal to or less than the specified value, the signal processing unit turns on the lamp 7 and the detection output by the hot-wire sensor 8 is not obtained. After a predetermined time (for example, 30 seconds), the lamp 7 is turned off. This predetermined time (hereinafter, referred to as a lighting holding time) corresponds to the first variable resistor V
It can be changed by adjusting the resistance value of R1 (see FIG. 1B). On the other hand, when the brightness detected by the brightness sensor exceeds a specified value, the switch element is kept off even if there is a detection output by the heat ray sensor 8. This specified value can be changed by adjusting the resistance value of a second variable resistor (not shown). Therefore, when the surroundings are bright and the lighting of the lamp 7 is unnecessary, the lamp 7 can be turned off regardless of the detection result of the heat ray sensor 8, and wasteful power consumption can be reduced.
