As shown in FIGS. 7 to 11, a horizontally circulating moving sidewalk described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-180664 has two straight portions 1a and 1b and two semicircular arc-shaped portions 1 as shown in FIGS.
c, 1d and a plurality of pallets 3 are connected to each other so as to partially overlap each other on a rail 7 formed in an annular shape by combining them endlessly. It is a sidewalk 1 that moves. The linear portion 1a,
1b is a moving sidewalk of the outward route and the return route. The linear portions 1a and 1b near the semicircular arc portions 1c and 1d have a short pitch on the entrance side or the exit side and a long pitch on the middle side. A total of four sets of screw rods 16 having a spiral screw groove 16a provided along are provided. A roller 18 projecting from a projection 17 on the lower surface of the pallet 3 is engaged with the screw groove 16a of the screw rod 16, and the pallet 3 is moved by rotating the screw rod 16. In the semicircular arc-shaped portions 1c and 1d, the rear pallet 3
The concave portion 3a on the front surface and the protrusion 3c on the lower surface of the front pallet 3 are brought into contact with each other and pressed against each other to move.
In the middle between a and 1b (that is, the portion where the screw rod 16 is not provided), the pallets 3 are moved by pulling each other by the string-like members 8 connected to each other. Reference numeral 2 denotes a boarding / alighting section provided on the semicircular arc-shaped sections 1c and 1d, 2a denotes a boarding section, and 2b denotes a boarding section. Reference numeral 4 denotes a base frame on which the sidewalk 1 that moves horizontally is mounted. Reference numeral 5 denotes a beam provided on the lower surface of the pallet 3 in the width direction. Reference numeral 6 denotes a traveling roller rotatably provided on the lower surface of the beam 5, and rolls on the upper surface of the rail 7. Reference numeral 9 denotes a support for supporting the rail 7 and the screw rod 16. Reference numeral 15 denotes a pallet variable speed device. 19 is a screw rod driving device (motor).

According to the present invention, a large number of pallets are arranged on a rail formed by combining two straight portions and two semicircular arc portions in an endless manner. This is a crane for maintenance and inspection of a moving sidewalk, which is placed side by side so as to overlap partly, and puts personnel on a pallet, and which is laid along the straight part on both sides of each straight part. A pair of trolleys to move, a pair of inverted V-shaped legs erected on the trolley, and a crane girder connected so as to straddle any one linear part of the sidewalk moving between the tops of the legs. A trolley block that moves on a crane girder to lift and lower equipment, and a reinforcing member provided inside one leg and connected between a bogie and a crane girder to form a truss When performing sidewalk maintenance and inspection, And, after the maintenance completion of the maintenance and inspection for the crane of the moving walkway that was to be stored by decomposition is provided.

Next, the operation of the present invention will be described. When setting up a moving sidewalk, lay rails on both sides of each straight section of the moving sidewalk in advance. At the time of maintenance and inspection of the moving sidewalk, a bogie and legs are taken out of a storage room (not shown) provided near the moving sidewalk, and a maintenance and inspection crane is assembled on the rail. After assembling, perform maintenance and inspection work while moving on the rails. When the maintenance and inspection are completed, the robot moves on the rails, moves to the vicinity of the storage room, disassembles and stores. As described above, since the maintenance and inspection crane moves while hanging the equipment along the linear portion of the moving walkway, the maintenance and inspection work is easy and safe. Further, since each bogie, each leg, the crane girder, and the reinforcing member are assembled by being disassembled with pins, respectively, assembly and disassembly are easy.
