ることができ、観音扉の側部外面を両側壁後部の傾斜面
又は湾曲面に連続するように傾斜又は湾曲して形成すれ
ば、両側壁の後端から流入する空気をその曲面が緩やか
に観音扉の後方に案内するので、空気抵抗をより一層軽
減することができる。一方、トラックの前端からこの観
音扉の外面までの距離でトラックの全長が規定されるの
で、外面より内側にロック機構が設けられた観音扉を使
用すれば、観音扉の扉の外面を規定値を越えない限度で
後方に偏倚させることにより、ロックバーが扉の外部に
設けられた観音扉を使用した従来の荷台に比較して収容
容積をその偏倚量だけ増加させることができる。
