Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of glass products even if glass products, etc. collide with an article fall prevention member(AFPM), and to certainly prevent heavy articles from falling from a shelf plate, and to always give proper tension to the prevention member. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a band-like article fall prevention member 6, a first adjusting means 14 in which an end part of the prevention member 6 can be mounted to a connecting member mounted to at least one of adjoining struts in such a way that a mounting position in the longitudinal direction can gradually be adjusted, and a second adjusting means which can continuously adjust a distance between the connecting member and the strut in the longitidinal direction of the prevention member 6.

However, in the article shelf described in Japanese Utility Model Registration No. 3047813, since the string stretched between the columns has considerable elasticity, it is difficult to place the article on the shelf board. If the items are heavy items, such as computer equipment, for example, the straps cannot prevent such items from falling off the shelf, and these items may fall off the shelf. May be damaged.
