Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.順次に設けられたエレクトロクロミック材料層、電解質材料層および対向電 極材料層を有するエレクトロクロミック装置において、 前記対向電極材料が、バナジウム、チタンおよびジルコニウムからなる群か ら選択した少なくとも2種の金属を含有する混合物の酸化物を含むことを特徴 とするエレクトロクロミック装置。 2.前記対向電極材料は、還元時に着色され、酸化時に脱色されることを特徴と する請求項1記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 3.前記混合物が、バナジウム、チタンおよびジルコニウムからなる群から選択 した2種の金属を含有することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のエレクト ロクロミック装置。 4.前記混合物が、バナジウム、チタンおよびジルコニウムからなる群から選択 した2種の金属を、モル%で、80:20,60:40,50:50,40: 60または20:80の比で含有することを特徴とする請求項3記載のエレク トロクロミック装置。 5.前記対向電極層は、厚さが100〜10×103Åであることを特徴とする 請求項1〜4のいずれか一つの項に記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 6.前記対向電極層は、厚さが1×103〜3×103Åであることを特徴とする 請求項5記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 7.前記対向電極層をスパッタリングによって堆積させることを特徴とする請求 項1〜6のいずれか一つの項に記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 8.前記対向電極層を直流マグネトロンスパッタリングによって堆積させたるこ とを特徴とする請求項7記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 9.前記スパッタリングを、5×10-4〜0.1ミリバールの全圧において、0 〜100容量%の酸素を含有するアルゴン雰囲気中で行うことを特徴とする請 求項7または8記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 10.前記アルゴン雰囲気は、5×10-3〜5×10-2ミリバールの全圧において 、10〜50容量%の酸素を含有することを特徴とする請求項9記載のエレク ト ロクロミック装置。 11.スパッタリングに用いるターゲットが金属間化合物または焼結酸化物である ことを特徴とする請求項10記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 12.前記混合物がバナジウムおよびチタンを含有することを特徴とする請求項1 〜11のいずれか一つの項に記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 13.バナジウムとチタンとの混合物の酸化物をスパッタリングによって堆積させ 、この際に導入する酸素のパーセンテージ、スパッタリング雰囲気の圧力およ び対向電極層の堆積厚さを、所要の電荷蓄積能が得られるように選択すること を特徴とする請求項12記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 14.前記混合物のバナジウム含有量を、所要のエレクトロクロミック効率が得ら れるように選択することを特徴とする請求項12または13記載のエレクトロ クロミック装置。 15.前記混合物が、バナジウム、チタンおよびジルコニウムを含有することを特 徴とする請求項1記載のエレクトロクロミック装置。 16.バナジウム、チタンおよびジルコニウムからなる群から選択した少なくとも 2種の金属を含有する混合物の酸化物を、ホトクロミック装置用対向電極材料 として使用する方法。
