Electromagnetic induction heating coil
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used for an electromagnetic induction coil, particularly a device for induction heating of an object.
Electromagnetic induction coil and an induction heating method using the coil
.
Magnetic materials allow them to be formed by multiple windings of wires or other elongated electrical conductors.
High circumference created by applying an alternating voltage across the formed working coil
The ability to heat inductively by combining with a wave AC magnetic field
Is knowledge. In this operation, the induction coil acts as the primary winding of the transformer.
, The workpiece acts as a secondary winding. The material to be heated is part of a closed circuit
Instead, the generation of heat is due to the induced current flowing in the workpiece. Workpi
Heating of ferrous materials is due to either resistance or hysteresis loss for ferromagnetic materials.
The increase in temperature, which occurs as a result of internal energy losses. Conductivity
Metal tubing can be used as the conductor of the coil, while the cooling fluid is running
Can flow through the coil. The actual voltage and frequency are
It depends on various factors, including size, workpiece and coil type.
Successful induction heating method depends on proper design of working coil acting as derivative
It greatly depends on the inn. Complete workpiece during heating process
Surrounding induction coil allows for easy heating from the end of the coil along the internal axis of the coil
The size or shape is such that it cannot be inserted into and removed from
Inconvenient in some cases. One such type of object is electrical wiring
Bundles or wiring harnesses, some of which are for the purposes described below.
Inside the coil for induction heating of the material to block gaps in the furnace
Will be placed in
This inconvenience is caused by using a cantilevered coil to move the object to be heated to the inner axis of the coil.
By pulling in and out from the lateral direction (in the case of a closed coil,
Although it is inevitable to plug in) it can be reduced. Such cantilever invitation
The conducting coil is, for example, a simple rectangular flat pancake coil with a suitable conductor.
Then, bend this pancake-shaped coil around the center line and make the short sides parallel.
, Curved on the long side to form a U-shaped or C-shaped internal space as a whole
It is formed in such a manner. However, such a cantilevered curved pancake
When the size of the coil is increased to accommodate the object to be induction heated,
For example, wiring harnesses with a diameter of 20 mm or more are common in the automobile industry.
Using undesired high voltages and / or currents and / or frequencies
Inconvenient and large generators generate a sufficiently powerful electric field in the coil
Required. Using a high frequency (eg 5 MHz), one
If the coil is attached to the generator using 4m or 4m lead wire, it is not acceptable
There is a disadvantage that a large power loss occurs.
The present invention solves this problem by providing at least two coil sections.
(Preferably made of conductive tubes) are electrically connected in parallel to each other
A cantilevered electromagnetic induction coil, wherein each of said coil sections is an internal coil;
The proximal portion curved around the internal coil axis, the distal portion curved around the internal coil axis,
Extending substantially in the same direction as the coil axis, and joining the proximal portion and the distal portion along the internal coil axis.
And a connecting portion for connecting so as to leave a space therebetween, and the first coil cell.
The at least one other portion located in the space between the proximal portion and the distal portion.
Having a proximal portion of one coil section and a distal portion of another coil section
Is an electromagnetic induction coil configured to be located beyond the distal portion of the first coil section.
Provide files.
By assembling the coils electrically in parallel, a desired relatively large coil
Can be assembled from small hole tubes or relatively thin wires
At the same time, high frequencies (eg, 0.5-1.5) that can be obtained from commercial generators
MHz) and a relatively low and safe voltage (eg, 250 V or less).
Maintaining the overall coil inductance at a value low enough to
Can be. As the generator, for example, CEIA (Power Cube; trademark)
120V, 1MHz, 2.5KW generator, sometimes small gold in precious metal field
Used with a small coil to heat the object.
As used herein, the proximal and distal portions are defined from one end of the coil along an internal axis.
When viewed, it means a relatively near portion and a relatively far portion. These proximity and
The statement that the distal section is curved about the internal coil axis is not
However, the curved portion is not limited to the shape shown in FIG. Many curved shapes have

One can come up with a part, for example one that forms three sides of a rectangle. The curve is internal carp
The leg has a leg on either side which extends relatively linearly from the side opening
It is convenient to bend around the coil axis by about 180 degrees toward the leg on the other side.
Internal coil, preferably for forming a coil with good depth and side opening width
A relatively large whole object can be stored in the space. Substantially circular
Bent at least 180 degrees, preferably 225 degrees, preferably 270 degrees
It is good to make around the coil axis.
The proximal (distal) bend is the two free ends of the continuous coil section
If it is desired to form the arch from the area, it may be discontinuous. Above freedom
The end regions are preferably located close enough to each other so that any non-
Continuity also has an unacceptably small effect on the uniformity of the magnetic field generated by the coil in use.
It becomes something. Also, the free end of each coil section is located at the connection
, So that both bends are formed from the continuous length of the coil section
Can be. The coil is located in both the proximal and distal sections of each section.
Can be discontinuous. Such a coil is either one of the internal coil axes
Can be composed of separate sections, each section being near and far
On the opposite side of the axis.
Bends toward the end. However, this structure does not provide electrical and cooling fluid
Tends to complicate connections for overlapping sets of side and right coil sections
is there. Thus, it extends along one side of the coil axis and around it extends to the other side of the axis
Preferably it is a continuous coil section.
