- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 浸水性表面に対して細菌が付着するのを阻止する方法であって、該浸水 性表面と、該浸水性表面に対して細菌が付着するのを阻止する有効量の少なくと も1種類の陰イオン性または非イオン性フルオロ界面活性剤とを接触させる工程 を含み、ここにおいて、該フルオロ界面活性剤が、 RfCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2Li、 (RfCH2CH2O)P(O)(ONH4)2、 (RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(ONH4)、 (RfCH2CH2O)P(O)(OH)2、 (RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(OH)、 RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)xH、 RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)yH、 RfCH2CH2SO3H (式中、RfはF(CF2CF2)3-8であり、xは2〜20であり、そしてyは2 〜20である) またはそれらの混合物から選択される上記方法。 2. 浸水性表面が、船体、艇体、海洋構造物、歯表面、医療用インプラント 表面または水性系の表面である請求項1に記載の方法。 3. xが5〜12であり、そしてyが5〜12である請求項1に記載の方法 。 4. フルオロ界面活性剤が、 RfCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2Liまたは RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)12Hであり、ここにおいて、 RfがF(CF2CF2)3-8である請求項1に記載の方法。 5. 水性系の生物汚損を抑制する方法であって、該水性系に対して、該水性 系内の浸水表面に対して細菌が付着するのを阻止する有効量の少なくとも1種類 の陰イオン性または非イオン性フルオロ界面活性剤を加える工程を含み、ここに おいて、該フルオロ界面活性剤が、 RfCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2Li、 (RfCH2CH2O)P(O)(ONH4)2、 (RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(ONH4)、 (RfCH2CH2O)P(O)(OH)2、 (RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(OH)、 RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)xH、 RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)yH、 RfCH2CH2SO3H (式中、RfはF(CF2CF2)3-8であり、xは2〜20であり、そしてyは2 〜20である) またはそれらの混合物から選択される上記方法。 6. xが5〜12であり、そしてyが5〜12である請求項5に記載の方法 。 7. フルオロ界面活性剤が、 RfCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2Liまたは RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)12Hであり、ここにおいて、 RfがF(CF2CF2)3-8である請求項5に記載の方法。 8. フルオロ界面活性剤の有効量が10ppm〜500ppmである請求項 5に記載の方法。 9. 添加工程が、水性系における既存の生物汚損をいずれも実質的に減少さ せるのに充分なフルオロ界面活性剤を該水性系に対して加えることを含む請求項 7に記載の方法。 10.添加工程が、水性系における既存の生物汚損をいずれも実質的に減少さ せるのに充分なフルオロ界面活性剤を該水性系に対して加えることを含む請求項 5に記載の方法。 11.水性系が工業用水系である請求項5に記載の方法。 12.工業用水系が、冷却水系、金属工作液系、製紙用水系および繊維製造水 系から選択される請求項11に記載の方法。 13.水性系がレクリエーション用水系である請求項5に記載の方法。 14.レクリエーション用水系が、水泳用プール、噴水、観賞用池、観賞用プ ールおよび観賞用小川から選択される請求項10に記載の方法。 15.水性系が衛生事業用水系である請求項5に記載の方法。 16.衛生事業用水系が、トイレット水系、水処理系および汚水処理系から選 択される請求項15に記載の方法。 17.水性系中の微生物の成長を抑制する有効量の殺生物剤を水性系に対して 加える工程を更に含む請求項5に記載の方法。 18.殺生物剤をフルオロ界面活性剤の前に加えて、水性系における既存の生 物汚損をいずれも実質的に減少させ、そしてフルオロ界面活性剤を加えて、水性 系内の浸水表面に対する生存する微生物の付着を阻止する請求項17に記載の方 法。 18.殺生物剤をフルオロ界面活性剤と同時に加える請求項17に記載の方法 。 19.微生物が、藻類、真菌および細菌から選択される請求項17に記載の方 法。 20.前記水性系が、工業用水系、レクリエーション用水系および衛生事業用 水系から選択される請求項19に記載の方法。 21.水性系中の生物汚損を抑制する組成物であって、該水性系内の浸水表面 に対して細菌が付着するのを阻止する有効量の少なくとも1種類の陰イオン性ま たは非イオン性フルオロ界面活性剤を含み、ここにおいて、該フルオロ界面活性 剤が、 RfCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2Li、 (RfCH2CH2O)P(O)(ONH4)2、 (RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(ONH4)、 (RfCH2CH2O)P(O)(OH)2、 (RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(OH)、 RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)xH、 RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)yH、 RfCH2CH2SO3H (式中、RfはF(CF2CF2)3-8であり、xは2〜20であり、そしてyは2 〜20である) またはそれらの混合物から選択される上記組成物。 22.xが5〜12であり、そしてyが5〜12である請求項21に記載の組 成物。 23.フルオロ界面活性剤が、 RfCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2Liまたは RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)12Hであり、ここにおいて、 RfがF(CF2CF2)3-8である請求項21に記載の組成物。 24.水性系中の微生物の成長を抑制する有効量の殺生物剤を更に含む請求項 21に記載の組成物。 25.組成物が液体の形である請求項21に記載の組成物。 26.組成物が固体の形である請求項21に記載の組成物。
