Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)ジェットエンジンの後端部に適合するほぼ円柱形状をなす前方の取り入 れ開口部と、ほぼ四辺形状をなす後方の出口開口部とを備えるノズル部と、 b)出口開放部の後方に位置する開放可能な騒音抑制室と、この室が2つの互い に対峙する封じ込め構造により区画されていることと、各々の構造が主表面を有 し、貝殻方式でノズル部に蝶着されて閉鎖状態と開放状態との間で無制限な移動 が可能であり、その結果閉鎖された時は一般に四辺形の断面をもつ室が出口開口 部の後ろに位置されることと、 c)各々の主表面1平方フィート当たり約15%から約25%が空間であり、か つ1平方フィート当たり約45個から約65個の孔が設けられるように、各々の 封じ込め構造の主表面を貫通して配置された複数の孔とを備えるジェットエンジ ン用騒音抑制器排気構造。 2.孔が主表面を貫通してほぼ均一に配置される請求項1に記載の騒音抑制器排 気構造。 3.封じ込め構造が閉鎖状態にある時、各々の後端部が互いに近接するように、 各々の対峙する封じ込め構造の主表面が、後方に向けて高さがほぼ一定して低く なる2つの平行する側壁を備える請求項1に記載の騒音抑制器排気構造。 4.ノズル部の後方出口開口部が長方形である請求項3に記載の騒音抑制器排気 構造。 5.ノズル部の後方出口開口部が長方形である請求項1に記載の騒音抑制器排気 構造。 6.閉鎖された室の断面が長方形である請求項4に記載の騒音抑制器排気構造。 7.孔がほぼ楕円形状をなす請求項1記載の騒音抑制器排気構造。 8.各々の孔が約0.25インチ(0.64センチメートル)×2インチ(5. 08センチメートル)である請求項7に記載の騒音抑制器排気構造。 9.各々の孔が約0.25インチ(0.6センチメートル)×2インチ(5.0 8センチメートル)である請求項2に記載の騒音抑制器排気構造。
