Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.近位端および遠位端を備えたカテーテル本体と、 カテーテル本体に取り付けられたテール・マスと、 該テール・マスと係合しかつこれから遠位側に延びている長手方向振動ドラ イバと、 該振動ドライバの遠位側前面と係合する境界部材とを有し、該境界部材の質 量はテール・マスの質量に比べ非常に小さく、 テール・マスと境界部材とを連結するばね要素を更に有し、該ばね要素は、 長手方向振動ドライバによる共振駆動ができるように選択されることを特徴と するカテーテル。 2.前記長手方向振動ドライバは、圧電要素および磁歪要素からなる群から選択 された長手方向振動部材からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の カテーテル。 3.前記長手方向振動部材は、内側円筒状電極および外側円筒状電極を備えた中 空圧電シリンダからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載のカテーテ ル。 4.前記圧電シリンダは、10〜300kHz の範囲内の周波数での振動を発生さ せる寸法を有しかつ材料からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第3項に記載の カテーテル。 5.前記圧電シリンダは、2mm〜2cmの範囲内の長さ、1〜4mmの範囲内の外径 、および0.1 〜0.5 mmの範囲内の壁厚を有する鉛・ジルコネート・タイタネー トからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載のカテーテル。 6.前記長手方向振動部材は複数のセラミックディスクからなり、これらの間に 電極が配置されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載のカテーテル 。 7.前記テール・マスは、境界部材の質量の少なくとも4倍の質量を有すること を特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のカテーテル。 8.前記テール・マスは0.1 〜10gの範囲内の質量を有し、前記境界部材は 0.005 〜1gの範囲内の質量を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項に記 載のカテーテル。 9.前記ばね要素は、近位端がテール・マスに固定されかつ遠位端が境界部材に 固定された少なくとも1つのロッドからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1 項に記載のカテーテル。 10.前記ばね要素はカテーテル内に同心状に配置された単一のロッドからなるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第9項に記載のカテーテル。 11.前記ばね要素は、カテーテル本体の軸線の回りで対称的に配置された少なく とも2つの平行ロッドからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第9項に記載のカ テーテル。 12.前記境界部材は、長手方向振動を、カテーテルの遠位端を包囲する環境内に 向かって前方に伝導する遠位側に配置された境界面を備えていることを特徴と する請求の範囲第1項に記載のカテーテル。 13.前記境界面は全体として凸状の形状を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 12項に記載のカテーテル。 14.前記カテーテル本体は、これを通して治療剤を供給するための少なくとも1 つの管孔を有していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のカテーテル 。 15.遠位端に超音波ドライバが設けられたカテーテル本体を備えた形式の超音波 カテーテルにおいて、 カテーテル本体の遠位端に固定されたテール・マスと、 該テール・マスから遠位側に間隔を隔てて配置された境界部材と、 境界部材とテール・マスとを連結するばね要素と、 境界部材とテール・マスとの間に配置された超音波ドライバとを有し、該超 音波ドライバは、境界部材、ばね要素および超音波ドライバの共振周波数また は該共振周波数の近くの周波数で振動することを特徴とするカテーテル。 16.前記超音波ドライバは内側円筒状電極および外側円筒状電極を備えた中空圧 電シリンダからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記載のカテーテル 。 17.前記圧電シリンダは、10〜300kHz の範囲内の周波数での振動を発生さ せる寸法を有しかつ材料からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第16項に記載 のカテーテル。 18.前記圧電シリンダは、2mm〜2cmの範囲内の長さ、1〜4mmの範囲内の外径 、 および0.1 〜0.5 mmの範囲内の壁厚を有する鉛・ジルコネート・タイタネー ト からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第17項に記載のカテーテル。 19.前記超音波ドライバは複数のセラミックディスクからなり、これらの間に電 極が配置されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記載のカテーテル 。 20.前記テール・マスは、境界部材の質量の少なくとも4倍の質量を有すること を特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記載のカテーテル。 21.前記テール・マスは0.1 〜10gの範囲内の質量を有し、前記境界部材は 0.005 〜1gの範囲内の質量を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第20項に 記載のカテーテル。 22.前記ばね要素は、近位端がテール・マスに固定されかつ遠位端が境界部材に 固定された少なくとも1つのロッドからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1 5項に記載のカテーテル。 23.前記ばね要素はカテーテル内に同心状に配置された単一のロッドからなるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第22項に記載のカテーテル。 24.前記ばね要素は、カテーテル本体の軸線の回りで対称的に配置された少なく とも2つの平行ロッドからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第22項に記載の カテーテル。 25.前記境界部材は、長手方向振動を、カテーテルの遠位端を包囲する環境内に 向かって前方に伝導する遠位側に配置された境界面を備えていることを特徴と する請求の範囲第15項に記載のカテーテル。 26.前記境界面は全体として凸状の形状を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 25項に記載のカテーテル。 27.前記カテーテル本体は、これを通して治療剤を供給するための少なくとも1 つの管孔を有していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記載のカテーテ ル。 28.遠位端に境界部材が設けられたカテーテルを準備し、 境界部材の前面を、管腔内病変部の近くの領域に前進させ、 カテーテルの遠位端で境界部材の近位側に取り付けられたテール・マスに対 して境界部材を超音波で駆動し、前記領域内に超音波エネルギを放射すること からなることを特徴とする管腔内病変部を治療する方法。 29.前記管腔内病変部は血管の狭窄を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第28項 に記載の方法。 30.前記境界部材は、約10〜300kHz の範囲内の周波数で駆動されることを 特徴とする請求の範囲第28項に記載の方法。 31.前記境界部材は、0.05〜40μm の範囲内の長手方向振幅で駆動されること を特徴とする請求の範囲第30項に記載の方法。 32.前記前面は、0.5 〜20mm2 の範囲内の面積を有することを特徴とする請求 の範囲第28項に記載の方法。 33.前記境界部材の表面は血管の閉塞部と係合されることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第29項に記載の方法。 34.前記カテーテルを通して治療剤を管腔内病変部に供給する段階を更に有する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第28項に記載の方法。 35.前記治療剤は、超音波エネルギが前記領域に放射されている間に供給される ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第34項に記載の方法。 36.前記治療剤は、血餅を治療すべく血管の狭窄部に供給されるフィブリン溶解 剤であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第35項に記載の方法。 37.前記治療剤は、以前に治療した血管部位の再狭窄を防止すべく供給されるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第35項に記載の方法。 38.前記境界部材は一定周波数で駆動されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第28 項に記載の方法。 39.前記境界部材は可変周波数で駆動されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第28 項に記載の方法。 40.前記可変周波数は、境界部材の共振周波数の変化に一致させるべく調節され ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第39項に記載の方法。 41.前記境界部材は不連続的に駆動されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第28項 に記載の方法。
